http://dragonage.wik...ack/Golden_City I've spent hours of boredom looking into the lore of dragon age and came across this site and I now believe that morrigan and that god baby of hers were teleported to the black city through the mirror, it has kept me amused for hours, i really wish bioware had a offical dragon age book to find out more about the black city the mirrors, arlathan and everything else.... its all one huge freaking mystery!

Why would they want to reveal something they are possibly (probably?) going to use in some future DA game/book?

Honestly I suggest reading this - I've spent the better part of 3 days going through each page of this topic and can seriously say I've had my mind blown by some of the theories in there, all a lot of fun and well thought out, it has a lot of Arlathan stuff to.

And yeah, they won't reveal anything they can use for the next games. I'm excited and yet worried about what DA3 will bring.

I would not be surprised if there was a war going on between the spirits and the demons... the virtues and sins.

Whereas I'm just hoping that someone, somewhere, will confirm my suspicion that Lake Calenhad is somehow tied to the Black City. That most prominent blob is quite a conspicuous shape.

I would expect something like this too. We've been told DA3 story is about saving the world from itself, what if the war in the Fade is causing cataclysmic events in the real world?

I would guess the second picture, but I'm not certain. The second structure seems to have some kind of gothic-looking palace on it, which basically forms the basis of my assumption.

lake calenhad has all kind of crazy weird things in it due to the mages dumping all of their unused potions up in it... maybe we should blame the Circle of Mages for the BP oil spoil

The Tevinters believed Lake Calenhad's waters were blessed by thee Old God Razikale, and that people who drank from it were granted gifts in perception and incites. The Avvars believed it to be the site of a mountain that once stood at the center of the world.

Also, what I think whykikyouwhy means is that the shape of Lake Calenhad is similar to the first structure in your first picture, which may or may not be the Black City.

You dont want to go there...

Lest you want to risk meeting a brat who says: "The blight is my solution, I control the Archdemons...."
