Honestly I suggest reading this - I've spent the better part of 3 days going through each page of this topic and can seriously say I've had my mind blown by some of the theories in there, all a lot of fun and well thought out, it has a lot of Arlathan stuff to.
And yeah, they won't reveal anything they can use for the next games. I'm excited and yet worried about what DA3 will bring.

I would like to one day visit that place in a future DA game.
With the option to kill the Maker.

Whereas I'm just hoping that someone, somewhere, will confirm my suspicion that Lake Calenhad is somehow tied to the Black City. That most prominent blob is quite a conspicuous shape.Onemantankwall wrote...

I would expect something like this too. We've been told DA3 story is about saving the world from itself, what if the war in the Fade is causing cataclysmic events in the real world?hero 2 wrote...
I would not be surprised if there was a war going on between the spirits and the demons... the virtues and sins.

lake calenhad has all kind of crazy weird things in it due to the mages dumping all of their unused potions up in it... maybe we should blame the Circle of Mages for the BP oil spoilwhykikyouwhy wrote...

Also, what I think whykikyouwhy means is that the shape of Lake Calenhad is similar to the first structure in your first picture, which may or may not be the Black City.
