I don't know if this deserves its own topic, but I'm really curious about the Racebending.com panel David Gaider is participating in on Thursday. I doubt we'll get any concrete DA related info there, but it would be interesting to hear his perspective on the topic of diversity in Bioware games. Any chance it will be taped?

You'd need to discuss that with the racebending.com people. I'm not aware what their plans are for the panel, other than that I've been invited to participate in the discussion. I'm looking forward to it, myself.

Wow... going to a forum where you don't know what they'll be asking you about?

That takes some brass ones, there, David.

I know the topic, and I'm not the only person on the panel. It's a discussion about diversity in entertainment-- videogames being only one facet (as there are people on the panel from comics as well as television). It's the sort of discussion that needs to happen more, as far as I'm concerned, so I'm happy to take part.

Thanks for the reply! I'll just put the panel info here, in case anyone on the BSN with Thursday SDCC tickets and some form of recording device is interested:

Same with Dark Horse panel? It's up to them to record it or not?

That does sound interesting! I hope it's recorded to allow those of us who can't go to watch it at home.

Is there any organisation doing videos for this event? Or are we scrabbling over youtube for crap videos with microphones at the wrong end of the room?

DA3 (or any other next gen projects) will not be announced until we hear concrete information on the next generation consoles from the Microsoft/Sony. So I'm guessing E3 2013. I can almost guarantee it.

If their target was to release on current gen there would have been an announcement months ago.
