Dear Bioware.
I liked the new EC, but it didn't really..."fix", my problem with the EMS/War Assets and certain choices apparently having little effect. However you have taken into account a huge number of choices, even some people never noticed and people have been asking about MP weapons in single player.
I think there may be a way to add them in with a small patch+ whatever MP pack the user has install -this is, of course, assuming you're not going to put them all in a paid-for DLC at some point.
For example, if a player sides with the Geth, after the battle, when they check their email, they find, they've got an email from the Geth and you get the Geth Pasma SMG in SP. If you sided with the Quarian, you don't get it, but something else, like the Reegar Carbine. If you got both, you either get both weapons or something else.
Convinced that Batarian from Bring Down the Sky to join the fleet? You find an email and get a Kishock Harpoon Gun!
Also you could have other things that reward long time players. Collected all the Turian emblems in ME1 (I know you have some of those marked)? You get the Krysae Sniper Rifle for Garrus. Gave the TIM the Collector Base? Well look, there's a parting gift, the Cerbarus Harrier, which was grabbed by the Alliance but now passed on to you, after whatever mission!
You know, don't just make them available in game, to everyone, use them as rewards for the choices!
To Bioware: Reward SP Choices with Emails and MP guns

a great idea but judging by how they handled dlc in ME2 at best we can expect a pile of emails that just say "here is a new gun".

Damn, good idea. Never thought of implementing something as simple as equipment as an incentive for some things. Would definitely deepen choices as they matter, not only plot wise, but gameplay wise too.

This is a very good idea.

But how does EA make money off this.

@Drayce333
It can be an incentive to new players to play not only play the Multi but to put effort into SP.
It can influence SP only players to get onto Multi (Shelling out for that 10-20 dollar Multi pass)
Creating a broader base and perhaps causing players to encourage friends to purchase the game for some co-op showboating (everyone loves to show off their new things that they have.

Glad some liked the idea, just hope Bioware or EA like it too and don't think it's a waste of resources.
Shouldn't take that much work -seeing as the assets have already been made- and I can only see the emails adding to the story and the weapons adding some sort of reward to the choices. They'd just need the emails to sound proper and acturate to the lor, etc.
It'd also reward both Paragon and Renegade paths, not just making the renegade seem like the bad option. EG: If Mordin lives you get a new gun, whereas Paragon, Mordin would be dead.

Respectfully, I disagree.
While I disliked how little the weapon choice was in ME2, 3 had more than enough for me, I don't need all these weapon choices.
Besides, these choices give you War Assets and I think that's enough. Save someone (like the Quarians) they're already helping me retake Earth and helping with the Crucible, I need a gun from them too?

^It's implied they help and you get EMS, there's nothing substantial and I'm talking about a simple way of getting MP guns into SP (because a few want that, not that it's needed) through a reward system.

???? I'm no EA defender but since when has this stopped them from releasing DLCs? We've had.... 15 free DLCs across ME2 and 3?
