I use it as a secondary to my Reegar Shotgun on my Quarian Infiltrator. The reason for this is that it's light, so it doesn't impede you're power usage, and its a good gun for those moments where the shotgun runs out of ammo, and you just need to pop a few real quick rounds into an enemies head. That things saved my backside so many times.

I'd say the ones I see most out of the OP's list are the Phaeston, the GPSMG (as a sidearm, with ULM), Falcon, Hornet, and Saber (I think this one would be used even more if more people had it).  In fact, I see the Phaeston a LOT on Bronze and Silver, and I see the Falcon in a pretty decent number of Gold matches.

The gun I see used the least is probably the Incisor.

i almost never see the Grall.

stat wise it makes sense but ingame its badly affected by lag, much like the Kishock is.

only less use the Grall than ever used the Kishock.

If you don't see them, maybe you should learn to play with them. Some are worth it and it is definitely much less boring to change your load-out up a bit.

Vindicator least I guess. I preferred it one a few caster classes for a while but it doesn't compare to the heavy pistols in damage or ease of use anymore. Practice makes perfect, but also makes for boring chars with the same load out in the end.

The Hornet was the first rare I ever unlocked, back when I was N7 20-30.  Tried it once, hated it, never tried it again until a few days ago.  Stuck a Hornet VIII on a TSe with AP ammo and absolutely laid waste to every mother****er I saw.  It was awesome.  My new favorite weapon.  :wub:   It requires a lot of clicking (similar to Mattock), but the damage output is impressive and it is accurate at range (though I think a Turian and/or stabilization mod is probably a necessity).  I hold my own in gold, but rarely top boards.  I've been topping a few boards the last couple days with the Hornet/TSe.  I don't have a Hurricane, but I would be surprised if the Hurricane is actually better than the Hornet, because that would be . . . silly.

TL/DR:  the Hornet is awesome.
TL/DR for Eric Fagnan:  the Hornet sucks.  Buff please!

For me I disagree with the following (since i use them regularly)

Saber, Javelin, Eagle, Geth SMG, Viper

Saber - Basically an 8 shot mantis. had 20 Headshots with it by wave 4. was a personal best for a while till I got it wave 3 with the valiant last weekend. the saber does serious damage esp with headshots

Javelin - Hated it until about 4 days ago when i got a javelin 3 and 4 in the same night and figured i'd try it. did it with the geth engineer and the human soldier and espicially love it with the human soldier. it does major damage to bosses on gold

Eagle - Lightweight pistol that rapid fires. works well for adepts and vanguards who need that cooldown.

Geth SMG  - Only SMG where ULM works. Only cuases a 3% difference in cooldown. well worth it. Some charcaters it causes no difference

Viper - Lightweight sniper with decent damage. I used this with my pheonix adept. viper and eagle and had like a 160% cooldown bonus. was a great damage dealer from any distance

My fellow forumites, you are far too strict about which weapons shall be used. We've been given a plethora of weapons and should use them to eradicate our foes. Do not be troubled by what causes the highest damage, reloads the quickest, or is the most accurate for I am here to tell you that any weapon can be deadly when used properly. <cough>

Out of all the weapons in the game, with a good amount of experience playing all 3 levels, I've probably seen the Scorpion the least.

Sure, a good shooter can kill someone from some range with a .22 rimfire, but if I was ever sent into war I really would prefer to keep my H&K G3 if you don't mind.

I used to play with the locust, thinking it was as good as ME2. I stopped using it seeing how many clips it needs to take something down. It would be somewhat useable with a magazine twice as big.

I personally have never used the katana in MP. I have tried all the weapons I have, but am not too fond of the Incisor (it needs to many consumables to be decent), the Eviscerator (I like the damage output, but can't get used to its RoF), the Shuriken, Geth SMG and the Vindicator, all for the same reason as the Incisor.

Great caster weapon, especially if you use the recharge speed gears and equipment. Don't get why people don't use it more. I see the striker occasionally.

It used to shoot blanks, I quit using it after that since it sucked SO bad, like 70% of my shots would not fire. I might try it again.

I don't really pay much attention to my teammates loadout unless it is really weird. Guns that stay on the shelf for me are as follows:

I do not have a collector rifle, so can't really comment on it.

Of the weapons I have, the ones I don't use are:

Pistols: Predator (too out classed at this point), Scorpion (kills great, if my team will leave things alone that I stick)

Shotguns: Katana (too outclassed at this point), Scimitar (can't see a point to this thing's existence, stats are all equal or worse than the Eviscerator), Graal Spike Thrower (didn't like it as much as I thought I would), Reegar Carbine (I just don't like how it operates), Crusader (doesn't pack the punch needed to offset the weight cost, in my opinion)

SMGs: Shuriken (too outclassed at this point), Tempest (too much recoil, not enough accuracy), Hornet (don't like burst fire on inaccurate weapons), Geth Plasma SMG (windup time), Hurricane (far too much recoil)

Sniper rifles: Incisor (don't like burst fire on inaccurate weapons), Raptor (meant to be a mid to long range weapon, suffers from damage reduction if fired from the hip to fire at mid range), Widow (prefer to use the Mantis to save cooldown times), Krysae (don't even get me started on this travesty)

Assault rifles: Avenger (too outclassed at this point), Falcon (if the map has uneven terrain, like Condor, the shot bounces in odd, and mostly unusable, directions), Geth Pulse Rifle (haven't found a good use for it, perhaps on a geth engineer)

i have a crusader 3, i consider it the most worthless gun i have. too heavy to use for not being good at anything. i can do the same thing but better with a carnifex and the carnfex isnt an anvil.

Agree; I've been running a Falcon ever since I found the thing. It is my very favourite gun. Stagger, high damage and the ability to hit things I can't see but know are there? I will deal with a low fire rate and ammo clip.

I don't see the Phaeston, although that was my favoured rifle before the Falcon, the Arc Gun... the Disciple. I could hardly make a decent list because it's not something I paid attention to, until now anyway.

Depends on the map level. Scimitar and Katana...I rarely see them in Gold. In Incisor on Gold? That's a rare sight.

On Bronze, these guns are pretty cool to use just to change things up a bit. I did try the Scimitar on a Gold PUG. It was pretty tough.
