I think I'm the only one that finds the Predator the most awesome truest sidearm to my Soldier's harrier or when my Rev was low level.

Locust is a gun I've only ever seen one person use. Ever. And I think she has since stopped.

Poor locust. They nerfed that weapon HARD.
I'll use Viper until I get a Valiant. I call it my Valiant 0. With the recent buff to the Viper, that's about what it is now.
If you don't mind carpal tunnel syndrome you can do some damage with the Predator, but your trigger finger will love you more if you go with Phalanx or Carnifax instead.

Locust X can be used to good effect on Bronze, if you focus on headshots. Nowhere else.

Actually...I use the Incisor and Saber all the time. Occasionally, I'll pull out the phaeston to screw around.

Only weapons I typically stay away from are the Incisor, Viper, Avenger, Phaeston, Vindicator, Striker, Disciple, Katana, Eviscerator, Scimitar, Arc Pistol, and Eagle.

Even though it honestly isn't a very good weapon statistically, I don't mind using the Shuriken (or Locust) at all. Met someone a while back who used the Shuriken almost exclusively. He told me to put the Scope and Heat Sink on there, and we manhandled some Gold Geth using that setup (not FBWGG). No equipment even.

In retrospect, I WAS a Salarian Infiltrator, but the weapon still manages to perform well in my hands when using most classes.

Personally, I don't find the Predator to be THAT bad.  I have a quick trigger finger (not to toot my own horn), and I do enjoy click spam with that gun, although carpal tunnel says that in a few years, I may not.

Scimitar needs a lot of love. Found out that a lvl X of this with no ammo mods or bonuses from fitness/consumables takes 250 shots to kill a brute on gold. It needs AP to deal any effective dmg to them. Needs some serious buffing.

Rifles: I rarely see anyone on gold rock the Phaeston, Avenger, or Geth Pulse Rifle. Saber, Mattock, and Falcon are faves and see frequent use, with Harrier topping the list for the rare few who actually possess one (good luck). Striker is sometimes used, Revenant rarely. I'm the only one I've seen use the Collector Rifle.

Handguns: Everything except the Eagle.

SMGs: None of them, though the Hornet and Hurricane are sometimes used, and the Geth SMG sees use as a backup weapon.

Shotguns: I've seen every shotgun except the Scimitar see routine use.

Snipers: Post-nerf Kishock, Incisor, Viper.

Surely you jest. The talon is arguably the best pistol in the game after they buffed it a while back. Scope + barrel with a GI and it can kill almost anything in 1-2 shots on gold (bosses would be the exception).

The Locust X w/your best AP ammo can make mincemeat out of Guardians and pretty good range. Otherwise a Phalanx X w/AP MOD and extended mag works better.

Predator is actually a decent pistol if you need ROF, but gets eclipsed by the Phalanx when both reach tier X. Haven't had much luck with the Carnifex (ROF was too low for someone with my aim) and haven't gotten the Paladin yet.

I would guess it also depends on what you have in your manifest. If you have a high-level Predator and a Phalanx I, then the Predator will probably work better, especially w/extended barrel and ap mod. A Mantis X might be better to carry along than some other weapons as well.

I bought that silly overpriced N7 keyboard, but I've yet to bust out the rifle in a game.  I tried to get my roommate to pitch in for the "Collector Assault Rifle X Fund" but he didn't bite.
