They really could wait until the final moments of the 360 life time and release a Mass Effect Trilogy pack for PC and 360, they really could. Heck I want them to, especially if the dlc will be on the disc. That way I'm set for life with no worries of servers going down! =D

You can even get third party servers for online play on the 360 (basically tricks the console into thinking it is playing over system link.)

What i think Kidd meant though is DLC. If for any reason you need to download it again in the future, you are completely reliant on EA/Microsoft keeping that content available.

On the PC we are fortunately that we can back-up our content to DVD but for 360 owners that isn't really an option.

Any time soon? No way The game has only been out for 4 months. Things like that usually only come out when the game is 100% done and nothing more will be added to it.

I'd buy that! I hope "AND MUCH MORE" includes hours upon hours of documentaries. Maybe even a bold documentary about the ending of the series in which C. Hudson breaks down and admits in tears that he totally messed up. I can so imagine that all in my head (Drew, Casey and Mac are present in the document): 

Casey Hudson: "At that time I just didn't understand how devoted and involved our fans were. I didn't know how much closure meant. The ending of ME3 was the biggest failure of my career and I'll never forgive myself for the pain I caused everyone.[Mac sobs hysterically besides Casey]"

And then Drew Karpyshyn tries to cheer them with something along the lines of:

Drew: "it's ok you guys, it's ok. Time to let go of ME3 now, time to let go. I didn't know what I was doing either. If I had been there with my Dark Energy storyline, things would've been even more messed up by the end of ME3. And you guys pulled it through with the EC. You did good, child(ren), you did good."

And then I'd lick the tv-screen desperately trying to get a taste of those sweet tears.

While not complete EA did do this with CnC.  The First Decade includes all games for the first 10 years and expansions for those games.  As you know Bioware is now taking over for the series started by Westwood.  I don't see why they couldn't make a Mass Effect (Shepard Saga) release with all DLC.  

If I know EA correctly they've already thought of this and know how it's a cash cow to be milked.

Uhm what about PS3 gamers?
Will they get shafted AGAIN and only get the Mass Effect Trilogy - The Complete 2-Disc Edition.


If they are going to release the Complete Edition then it must include the Complete Edition for all platforms!!

They'll need to release one if they're going to have it for the next Wii system as well. I imagine that the "ultimate editions" will be released at some point during the next Gen system's lifetimes.

I hope they create a "Conrad Veneer" mode where you get to play as the Mass Effect universe's least competent hero...it'll be like playing the block of Tofu in that Resident Evil game.

God damn, when I see people who are willing to pay for free stuff I can no longer wonder why EA has such bad politics... THEY WORK!

That'd be an awesome addition to the difficulty levels. Veteran / Hardcore / Insanity / Conrad Veneer.

Totally seriously. As I stated in my OP, I own the game on PC, would like to buy it on Xbox and am not that enthusiastic about downloading all the additional stuff or paying for a day-one-DLC. Maybe complete-edition is not a good name for what I'm asking for. Would "Fixed for you" - Edition be a more describing name?

They haven't even released the dlc for ME3 yet, it'll probably be another 2 years at least before a complete pack and even then I bet you'll still need to buy the DLC seperate >_<

Well, I would love for it to be that way. I don't -want- ps3 users to be shafted like that. It's just... ME1 is still owned by Microsoft. In fact, the schism between Microsoft and EA might make it difficult to make such a pack come out even on PC360. I hope not, but yeah =\\
