I remember Miranda being very popular...and she was such a main character.....then ec came out and she along with jack were the only 2 possible LIs at the end  to get NOTHING added to their stories/romances STILL....is it b/c theyre not squadmates?? WHY??......are garrus and tali THAT much more popular than them? That fan demand can influence and create their extreme overexposure and the Miranda/jack fans cannot? Miranda and Jack fans have to feel so empty and invalidated......

And Jacob is inevitably not avaiable as an LI by the time the end of me 3 rolls around.....again, OF THE POSSIBLE LIS AT THE END OF THE GAME only jack and miranda were ignored, all others were serviced somehow

All the other LIs were aboard the Normandy, of course they're going to be serviced more =P

And to answer your question as to why Tali and Garrus are so popular, their fanbase has been around since ME1.

Well, ok. The only ones who really got more love are the squad, yes. Because that's how the flow of the story works. At least they fixed the flashbacks and added in a slide.

Personally I like Miranda and Jack more. But it seems that yes, Garrus and Tali have bigger fanbase.

But remind me again why should it matter who's got a bigger fanbase as long as there are fans? That kind of attitude of "who's got the most fans?" is what made your avatar cheat on FemShep.

1: Have been around longer
2: Were the ones to stick with Shepard all the way through
3: Are great and honest characters

Definitely! Miranda's romance is so shallow, "MAYBE I WANNA ADMIRE YOUR BODY" bull, Tali's and Garrus's are the most romantic, heart warming romances in the game, tied with maybe Jack and Thane's.

Come on, I think that's a little harsh. I love Garrus, but Miranda is a pretty fantastic character and I think she deserved a better treatment. Besides, I don't think her romance is as shallow as you make it out to be (unless you're kidding, in that case, my bad). Shep and Miranda greatly respect each other even if they disagree completely, especially regarding Cerberus, and they can come to love each other. An additional scene with her in the EC couldn't have been that hard (although I overall am very grateful to Bioware for the EC).

(I'm not a big fan of Jack, but same applies to her.)

Miranda definitely should have been a squaddy. She's on the cover of the freaking second game. She's also got like the second-most recognizable voice actor/tress in the series (behind Martin Sheen). Don't get me wrong, I'm not killing Garrus and Tali (they're both awesome squaddies), but there should have been room for Miranda over Cyber-Camletoe or Pullups McDuh...

Erm....As much as I love Miri and feel her Romance is lacking, Thane and Jacob got FAR worse treatment in ME3. My poor Fem!Shep.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Miri (that was me joking actually, I thought that line was kinda cheesy on Shep's part though), I just think Garrus's and Tali's romances are much more...in depth, emotionally investing, all that jazz. The same could be said for Jack and Thane, and the way Thane's romancers got rewared in three was just awful, I feel sorry for my fellow Thanemancers (although I'm kinda a romance-****, across all of my ME2 playthroughs, the only one I haven't romanced is Jacob).

She's not on ship so there is no point it makes sense however to give squadmate LIs their own moments. Unless you want some contrived reason for Miranda or any other non squadmate LI to show up at the final battle push just so you can say goodbye to them which would've done the opposite of what the EC was trying to do the EC wasn't out to make new contrivances it was put out to give more cohesion to the content that already existed. Miranda, Jack, Grunt, ect were unpickable for squadmates so it made no sense to make them rush onto the field and get picked up by your ship.
