I´ve been thinking about this a few hours. So we´ve got Crucible, involved by somebody a few (probably) millions of years ago. Adjusted by somebody a few (probably) millions of years ago. Practically there is no evidence that Reapers didn´t created it. Even if organics created it, i still don´t get why its used in this way (wtf shooting the tube ?). No fuc*ing button ?
I really don´t understand why it can´t target only Reaper tech, or why it can´t target Reaper shields. Yeah some might argue that its impossible to target something so specific as certain shiels are, but...why not ? We already have got space magic (and hell yes in 2 from 3 cases is used). So the question is why its not allowed..and why so stupid way to make Crucible work ?
Now some thoughts about origin of Crucible: I can assume that those who invented crucible were really advanced (probably even more than Reapers). And if the first civilization created the first Reapers, then who invented crucible. You must admit that energy demands are really high. I simply can´t imagine how civilization similiar to human civilization (ME of course) create a power source why is capable of affecting the entire galaxy. So there are only a few options.
1: Civilization that created Crucible were Reaper creators.
2. Civilization that created Crucible was from another galaxy.
3. The plans on creation of Crucible was handed from unknown aliens, which visited previous civilization.
Based on that what we know about Crucible, i think that option 2 might be right.
About Crucible "firing" stuff:
How it works ? What is that stuff ? Some type of nanotechnology ? And if so, why Crucible is firing in blue ending ?
In blue ending, everything is about "uploading" Shepards mind into some Reaper "server" so, why Crucible firing ? I really don´t understand to that ... its because every Reaper needs to know that Shepard is in charge ? I don´t think so. This *****ng Reaper AI is on the citadel, so if Shepard uploads him self to the citadel, whats the point of throwing some information to all reapers ? Because this AI is "super" mind of all reapers, isn´t it ?
