if someone who knows could answer this, thanks.....{b/c I thought jack could but it turns out no, so.....}
Simple question: If Jacob is not loyal, will he die at the end of his mission in Me 3??

I doubt so, if he's not loyal in ME2, the only hurdle you have to pass is somehow getting him to survive the suicide mission and then you'll be good.
Quick question though, how do you not have his loyalty? The only four I can think you'd be justified in lacking would be Miranda or Jack, and Tali or Legion, y'know, because of the arguments and such.

No he won't die there.
Even his "surrogate" won't die.

Just a wild guess, but I'm guessing lack of loyalty into ME3 might mean lack of war assets? Kasumi allegedly doesn't reveal herself after the explosion if she isn't loyal in ME3 and you don't get her as a war asset. Then again, they swept a lot of things under the rug with Jacob so wouldn't be surprised if his loyalty doesn't make a difference.
