Well, seeing as any content is highly likley to be pre 3, you might get babies, but not Shepards.Lunch Box1912 wrote...

BW doesn't give a s*** what you choose, as long as you choose to buy DLC.
Does Bioware "want" us to choose "Destroy"?

On the bright side, if you choose synthesis, you get little green babies.Lunch Box1912 wrote...

Ok but back to the topic I do feel that staying the course or Destroy could be a bioware anticipation maybe? That most of would choose it even though we lose EDI and our Geth allies

Did some digging, and found this thread:
social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/12147269/3
and is that thread "Iakus" came up with these links:
twitter.com/gamblemike/status/195308506214187008
https://twitter.com/...331064825266176
Finally some evidence of statements coming from Bioware. Of course, still not everybody will agree on what to make of that, though

I will say that even as a pro-synthesis person, I would definitely be able to smile if Bioware comes up with a Mass effect "4" where destroy will have turned out to be the "best" option after all. That Shepard lives, synthesis was the option an "indoctrinated" Shepard would have chosen and from there on, everything will sort of start from scratch. (I left EDI and the Geth's fate out of this picture intentionally).
All I really know is that I want the ME games to continue. Somehow, somewhere and sometime!

Nope. They want synthesis.
And the fact Shepard dies in the other endings doesn't make destroy their prefered one anyway. It's the end of Shepard's story anyway.
And there is NO canon ending. Why do you want that there will be one?
It may be the end of Shep's story, but if they are ever going to move the timeline forward, the future games ARE going to be based on one of those endings. Therefore it will be the canon ending.
That's just what i think.
You're right. Just like KOTOR had a canon ending. Male - Light Side, Romanced Bastila.

No, in fact Control is the ending BioWare wants us to choose since they spent an entire Mass Effect 2 to tell you how a power-hungry tycoon has the right idea. Or at least that's what The Illusive Man throughout the entire game/"Evil" Chris Priestly has been wanting us to choose.
And yes, I chose that one. What kill when you can control?
