Ive been looking through the script of the Leviathan of Dis DLC and have seen that it makes minor (maybe even large) changes to the conversation with the Catalyst at the end of ME3. Since this DLC will (most likely) explain the Reaper's history, motivations and everything else, do you think that EA will allow BW to release this DLC for free too?
Personaly, I believe that releasing this one for free too would be a real attitude changer for many fans towards BW.
Oh yeah, we also would learn the reasons why the citizens of the galaxy are being butchered every 50K years by giant pieces of semi-sentient sushi.

No. And to be honest, I'm not sure parts of this fanbase actually deserves any more free content.

Most likely not. But I hope it isn't like 10 dollars just for 2 hours of content.

Haha.

No.

EC and MP DLC are the exceptions, not the rule.

I'm guessing the DLC will be $10, plus an additional $5 for the leviathan to actually appear.

No. And why should it be? They gave us the EC, which was really well done (within the confines of the endings they couldn't "change"), and people still complained.

Besides, their DLCs are usually worth the money.

Well I guess you'll know when they release it, but my guess is no. They might still cancel it at this point, if they feel not enough people will buy, just like the DA2 DLC. This could be a real possibility as many are still venting some displeasure at the EC. I'll personally wait to see if it affects the endings somehow, otherwise it bears no interest to me.

Very strongly doubt any SP DLC will be free from this point on.

If it's not free, I expect ME3 DLC to go the way of DA2 DLC. Maybe three releases for SP and then a 'focus on exciting new opportunities in the Mass Effect universe'

A lot of people love the game. I doubt any of the DLC will bomb.

Quite franckly the EC was not free, I paid 60$ for it. The product I got was obviously not done when I got it, and while I still do not like the ending, I will concede that at least I have a complete product now. Will I thank them for it? Absolutely not, the ending was barely at the draft stage and they deserved every single piece of complaint they got for it.

No, and the deluded should be kicked in the head to keep thinking that they'll get this many more freebies after the EC and the Cerberus Network.

They can if they want although it's not going to earn my forgiveness. Until Bioware gets better, I'm keeping a barge pole between me and their games/DLCs.

The product was done. It didn't crash at the end or anything. You reached the end, made your decisions and then the credits rolled. Did the original endings suck? Yes. Does that mean that the game was unifished? No. You got a finished product, thought the quality of the endings were very much debatable. A movie with a crappy ending isn't an unifinished movie either. It's simply a movie with a crappy ending.

No. Paid DLC will serve in part to test how many SP fans are willing to buy ME content now that this debacle is "over." If people really mean what they say about holding the wallet, then it's possible Bioware may have to recalibrate and make future dlc shed more light on the endings. I for one would be for any dlc that gives Refusal more context down the road.

Long shot, but I'll be popping in here to check now and then, that's for sure.
