No. And to be honest, I'm not sure parts of this fanbase actually deserves any more free content.

Quite franckly the EC was not free, I paid 60$ for it. The product I got was obviously not done when I got it, and while I still do not like the ending, I will concede that at least I have a complete product now. Will I thank them for it, absolutely not, the ending was barely at the draft stage and they deserved every single piece of complaint they got for it.

The product was done. It didn't crash at the end or anything. You reached the end, made your decisions and then the credits rolled. Did the original endings suck? Yes. Does that mean that the game was unifished? No. You got a finished product, thought the quality of the endings were very much debatable. A movie with a crappy ending isn't an unifinished movie either. It's simply a movie with a crappy ending.

If the rest of the game sucked I would agree, but it didn't. The rest of the game is technically speaking in terms of quality of the cutscenes and dialog just so much better that it is sadly obvious that they did not apply the same standards of quality to the end. If you do not apply the same criteria of quality to the last features of your product then you are not done, and neither is the product. Bugs are just one metric on the quality of software, just because it doesn't crash doesn't mean it is done.

So I guess a music album with a crappy track at the end or a movie with a bad ending is unifineshed too, according to your weird logic. You make very little sense.

Yes it needs to be free or like $2 Max

Why?

Because things didn't turn out how they should have and Bioware need to adapt to the current situation or just abandon Mass effect.
Personally $2 is a very fair price for the DLC we will be getting which will probably be most likely of poor quality based on the current standing within Bioware.

So it all boils down to Bioware not doing what you want them to do. Alright.

Not really.
It boils down to them not sticking to the themes of Mass effect 1 and 2 and giving the fans something bad for Mass effect 3 that didn't really fit.
And they failed to send this game off on and epic or good note, for the majority of people the game is meh or worse.

They offered the EC for free, and that fixed the ending for most people (as that poll on facebook clearly showed).

So because a plurality (not a majority) thinks that the ending is "fixed"...what...that means that the minority is wrong for not being happy with it?  I still don't understand what your contention is.

EDIT:  inb4 more condescending "spoiled child" comments.  I don't think future DLC should be free either - the 2gb free content limit on XBOX is part of what made the EC so underwhelming.

But stop telling people they're being "bad fans" or whatever for being unhappy with this product.  ME meant a lot to a lot of people and some are still crushed by how the series ended.  They have a right to feel that way and to express themselves on these forums, just like you have a right to try and make them feel like sh*t about it.

It would be nice to get it for free, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Unless we get a new squadmate out of this, I don't see myself buying it.

More like your greedy and spoiled seems to me as goes with anyone saying it should be free. You do not deserve more free DLC just because you still do not like it. You could keep u the pretense of "I stil don't lkike it for eternity" asking them for more and more free DLC until you magically are satisfied which never happens.

Do you have any idea just how spoiled you lot saying should be free sound right now? You like spoiled children at this stage. It should cost same amount as average cost of any other DLC that Bioware charge for. If you do not want it then do not buy it, but you sure as hell do not deserve it free on top of the free EC they gave you.

I would love to have you as a customer, it'll save me time and money on quality assurance. I hope you would be pissed if someone sold you a music album with 10 tracks on it and it turns out the last 2 tracks is the producer singing, drunk, in the restrooms and recording on an old tape recorder. I would feel ripped off, I hope you would too. By your logic as long as I put some effort into doing some of it right, I don't need to put any time or effort into doing the rest right.

EC was an insult to gamers overall in the bigger picture of things.

An insult?! Strangely enough most people outside of this mental social network have been satisfied with the EC. It's only insulting to you, because you're mad Bioware didn't do what you wanted them to do. Stop acting like a spoiled child. It's embarrasing to look at.

You keep mentioning me specficially not been happy.
Obviously there is a point you don't want to touch on, the majority of people are disappointed with what happened to Mass effect 3.
EC did offer some hope it did supply some closure to the already disappointing endings that didn't fit with the theme of the last two games.
Logically speaking their rep has only gone down and with EC it went further down, Free or Cheap DLC is likely or it been bombed is ensured.

Implying that the last 5 minutes of a 25+ hour game lowers Bioware's standing by that much. 2 dollars is absurdly low. Think about it: Voice Actors have to be paid, the studio is also spending their time making the DLC, in addition to the DLC most likely having a mini-soundtrack. Not that I have a problem with 2 dollars, but your expectation/demand is unreasonable and moronic. It's either free or $10.

Bioware doesn't owe you anything and you should be happy that the MP DLC and EC were free. Any further SP DLC coming from Bioware will most likely be paid.

No excuses and you can come up with a billion analogies however in the end if do not like it then do not buy it but it should not be free. You think the press and other media calling you whiny self entitled and spoiled was bad pre-EC you keep this up and it will make that look like a drop in the ocean.

So if an album had 10 amazing mindblowing tracks, and two bad ones at the end, you'd feel ripped off?

Righty then, I think you just ended the discussion with that statement. You're simply not worth it.

Well trust lost is hard to regain. That this person says that based on the quality she feels she has gotten so far, she is only willing to pay $2 for the next DLC, seems reasonable. I don't really really understand why you are mad, when you screw up, it usually costs a lot more than what you saved in the first place to regain your customer base. I personally will make a decision when I see the price and read the feedback, however, I am certainly done preordering from Bioware for quite some time.

Your free to dislike the ending, both original and EC, but your statement is capricious and unreasonable. Mass Effect 3 by definition was a finished product and even though the last 10 minutes of a 25+ hour game were not great, the rest of the game was and since this is not ending related I expect that it will not only be a good piece of DLC, but on par with the main story of Mass Effect 3.

And you can check on PSN or XBL, because right there it states the Extended Cut is free.

The EC was free because they would've needed the old spice guy covered in honey, making love to EDIs ****** for us to buy it at that point.

Bioware have weathered the PR ****storm with the EC and can get back to making money for EA. I would be very shocked if they didn't start charging for SP content(MP pays for itself).

Then leave. They should not and would not keep giving you freebies just because you claim your still not pleased. They should charge for it and not your amount say want to pay. If you do not want it then don't buy it. The EC was free and that was enough now if you think it insulted you then so be it that is your issue not theirs at this stage in which case just do not buy the DLC.

No. It will not be free. And after all that BW had to go through with EC and everything I think they deserve some of my money if the dlc seams to be any good.
