it shoudln't be. They've given plenty of free DLC's and people who don't like the ending (cause their crybabies) will never change their mind of Bioware so no charge for the DLC and let people who want it buy it.
LOL

I'm sorry if I just called you a cry baby. I was just reading some people whining about the ending and I was frustrated. I understand the feeling and before EC I felt the same way but it's like come on they explained the ending gave a bit of closure. I mean it's not fair to judge what they do for an ending only how they do it.

What? That is absurd. I appreciate the apology, but the content of the ending is just as much valid for criticism as the execution.

Most likely not. But I hope it isn't like 10 dollars just for 2 hours of content.
That's far too cheap, too generous.
It's about $500 to unlock the weapons of one class in Battlefield 3.
But in all seriousness, there is about $200 in DLC for Battlefield 3 and 95% of it are shortcut kits. I don't have much hope for ME3 DLC.

this will be my last response because it's off topic of the post but I disagree. I don't think you call out a writer and say you should change what you wrote. because then it's no longer their unique story. Now you can say I don't understand what you did make it more clear. Or you should reference why this happened earlier so it makes sense in the ending (which I think Bioware should of done) Control and Synthesis should of been talked about and Shepard shouldn't of been so blantly against the ideas throughout the series.

No spoilers, but it seems like the Leviathan DLC will, in fact, change dialogue in the ending.
Yeah I read that they got some info of the DLC though data mining the EC (DLC Inception xD), but that's what I pointing, regarding the ending if the DLC only add a few extra lines of dialogue with the Starbrat it'll be a huge dissapointment (regardless the lore), having a War Asset of that Caliber gotta do something that change the outcome of the battle.

You have a narrow view of criticism, then.

No. Paid DLC will serve in part to test how many SP fans are willing to buy ME content now that this debacle is "over." If people really mean what they say about holding the wallet, then it's possible Bioware may have to recalibrate and make future dlc shed more light on the endings. I for one would be for any dlc that gives Refusal more context down the road.
Long shot, but I'll be popping in here to check now and then, that's for sure.
more likely if the dlc doesnt sell bioware will simply end support for the game and move on to future projects

So my question to you guys is, would you do the same?
Knowing it has no effect on the ending of ME3, would you but DLC for ME1/2 (games we all (hopefully!) love) if it was released to the standard of LOTSB?

Yeah, that's probably the case. But here's hoping for better content anyway

Im kinda torn by the whole question of DLC... will I buy DLC for ME3 knowing it wont change the end... probably... but i would do it in the same way i would buy DLC for ME1 or ME2 that was released now ( I know these games are done but the point holds) ... If the premise and reviews were good enough, yep Id buy it to spend time with characters I love...

I hope it is the case. Mass Effect deserves a quick and painless death, not one slowly drawn out and debated.
Bioware, on the other hand...

I would. whatever the ending is like, the game is still Mass Effect, the series that I started playing and instantly fell in love with. Doesn't anyone remember the anticipation for me3? The day it came out felt like Christmas and my birthday put together.
Even if they ruined the series in the last ten minutes, it's still Mass Effect, so I'll still buy it.

ME is probably they best "Original" franchise sor far, I think they can't let this one go away. Even though I hate the original endings and my personal felling that the EC managed only to put a bandaid in the gunshot, I do hope they manage to fix it, the whole ME's universe and experience needs to be greater than his last 15 minutes.

Yes, the game is not that bad, it's quite good, granted I liked the endings anyways and still liked them with EC. But even if I did not I would still buy the SP DLC... providing it is story related content. I would still buy SP story DLC for ME1 and ME2 if they made any, it provides more content for games that I enjoyed and may play again in the future. Just like I would still buy story related DLC for DA:O or DA2 even though did not enjoy DA2 much the core game the DLC was an improvement (even if could not overall redeem the core title, they were enjoyable enough imho).

Ever played Phantasy Star series (excluding MMO's)? The idiology is the same being a scifi style series with worlds entering continued cycles of death and destruction, civilisations being rebuilt and life adapting each time; new characters between each cycle aka title in the series. Each title set in new timeline within the same universe and lore. Most importantly (imho) each title in the series better than the last. I think or hope the same will be true of ME future projects, leave enough time to pass between this and the next title and give enough time to adapt and rebuilt then new protaganist and characters in new story set withn the same universe.
