Will it work in Windows 7 x64 out of the box? If not, I'm not interested.

Does not say x64 (or x32 for that matter), but maybe hope.

I think I read somewhere that a console version would be upcoming.

It would be awesome if it came with widescreen capability. Though, to be fair, is KOTOR2 going to be as broken as it was when it first came out?

I hope it's DRM free/fully patched. I can't patch my GOTY edition.

My computer is a piece of crap so it would be nice if they came out with a console version but I kind of doubt it.

Bioware won't be involved directly, so LucasArts will be a superior information source; continue to blame Lucas for KotOR2's incomplete condition. They didn't allow Obsidian to finish.PadawanMage71 wrote...

Will wait to see if this is new and improved. I really hope so and with widescreen because the uniws fix won't work on my shiny new laptop. I'm already the sad pc-only gamer who bought a second hand XBOX just to play both games on the console (before Windows 7 came out, Vista's inability to play TSL made me cry as did its only quirk for the first game, cutscene crashing)
I'm very fortunate to be able to run both games on a Windows 7 64bit computer but it's not all smooth sailing and at least an updated game stands a chance... be still my beating heart, why does it say ten worlds for the first game?
For my original PC copy, it was eight advertised on the back. I'm going to check the reviews daily at the very idea of extra content for the first game and maybe, just maybe a genuine full second game instead of the restoration mod, still awesome.

KotOR collection? Hope this is for Xbox. If not, I can still get it for PC. 10 year anniversary of the first game I ever played soon.

Bioware is not going to be involved, I am sure. If KotOR2 were to be repaired, that was never Bioware's, so Obsidian would potentially be involved, but I really doubt there will be any significant changes.

Hmm, could be interesting, I'd like to see how this pans out. Like, if there's any changes to either game at all. Just realised this game is 10 years old next year, maybe it's some kinda anniversary thing?

I am certain that the contracts LucasArts had with Bioware and Obsidian gave them fully documented uncompiled program code with which, if they so desired, they could include updates. My best estimate is that they will not do so.

Well... yeah....
Good news: Both KOTOR 1 & 2 run fine on Windows 7 64bit.
Bad news: You can only get a max resolution of 1280 x 960 (or 1024). And you must have the disc in the tray in order to play.... Yep.
..... disappointing...

Seems that they put minimal effort into this release. Are they at least fully updated?
