The original Team AreleX gamertag is full, so after joining the group, please add Team AreleX 2 on XBL for an easy way to team up with other group members.
We have created our own forums to keep group members together, no matter what game we end up on. Now, players of all platforms are welcome. 360, PC, PS3, doesn't matter; everyone is free to join, set up matches, and talk! If you've enjoyed the thread/group, head over and sign up to stick with us.

N7 Demolisher Balcony Demonstration Video!
A group for Xbox 360 players (and now players of all platforms) to find others and coordinate speed runs, learn more about the game, improve, and meet some great new people!
Rules:
1: Don't be a douchebag. This is first and foremost. Everyone starts somewhere. Be helpful, not a hindrance. Check your ego at the door so you can learn from those who are more knowledgeable, and the more knowledgeable should spread what they know to everyone else. This makes everyone into a great player, and improves the quality of our players/people/runs.
2. Be a team player. Your score and kills are part of the team's, and teamwork is how you get fast clears. Plan with your other players on controlling spawns and positioning.
3. Have a basic understanding of the game and its mechanics before trying speed runs. This isn't to look down on/exclude people, but you should have a functional knowledge of how things work before jumping into a speed run.
4. Mics are optional, but preferred.

AreleX's N7 Demolisher Balcony Build
I've noticed that a lot of people have trouble holding the balcony. This can be a very difficult spot (even for a geth) due to the amount of spawns that have the ability to see and attack you. Today, I found that the Demolisher is incredibly useful and helpful at holding down balcony and taking care of business quickly. Below is my build, along with some general gameplay tips.

Set up your supply pylon on the balcony so you can sit behind the box on the right side and still be inside it. Arc Grenade + Homing Grenade is a huge damage tech burst, and this is going to be your bread and butter. When you want to conserve a nade for smaller clusters, throw Arc Grenade and get Harrier headshots. For boss enemies and CQC, switch to your Pirahna and do damage. Your supply pylon should keep you fully stocked, and you should be able to go almost the whole game without using an ammo pack. Note that you need good communication with and from your team so they can notify you of attacks coming from the hallway or landing zone while you're occupied with nook. Try it, practice it, and I guarantee you will love it.
