Yeah, my bad. I misunderstood split spawn... I was thinking that maybe staying in the dark room at the beginning of the wave blocked the attic.

it's all good, buddy. when i say 'split spawn', i mean, say, on a wave where you have 2 atlas, instead of both being in the basement, one spawns in the basement and one spawns in the control room. making you either waste more rockets to kill them both, or waste more time to take them out with guns.

I am actually going to do just that it's clear that optimist won't listen until he's soem sort of rediculoulsy impressive run from everyone in this group that doesn't involve "crutches". Just leave posts alone, I know I will be, it's a mistake getting into a war of words with BSN, Tatty summed it up incredibly well with a little anecdote over XBL. He said he'd been walking home one day when a group of kids insulted him, he came back with something witty to which they simply replied "yeah, but you smell"... pretty much sums up how these trolls react to anything.

by the way, the captains are going to choose their team mates from the tournament draft? or do you want to try out something like a lottery?
We could give everyone a number (post entry in the tournament thread) and use a random number generator to create the teams.

Tatty shoot me an invite if you need a space, I bought DA2 (underrated game imo, though apparentally it's Act III that sucks...) and Deus Ex (I'll be honest, I suck at this game, couldn't even get through the prologue without switching difficulty to "Show me a story" and there's only about 5 enemies in the prologue xD) so I'll probably be on the 360 quite often for the next week, always happy to pop in ME3 for a few games.

This goes to everyone else as well by the way! If I'm on I'll either be on another game or already in a group on ME3! Invite me if I'm on another game!

PSA NUMBER TWO: TEAM ARELEX ETTIQUITE

Guys, what I'm about to say is something I'm certainly guilty of, but needs to stop from everyone. No more trolling, no more insulting players who aren't as good as us/ignorant ones, none of that. If you want to correct someone who makes a false statement, feel free. If they take offense to it, and you present it in a perfectly amicable way, just bow out of the thread. If people display that kind of attitude, don't bother with them. Remember the tenets our group is founded upon: fun, helping others, and learning.

I said to defleshing and slimjim, and i'll say it again here: the crime we are most guilty of is fierce loyalty. I gotta say, I'm proud of how many of you step up and go to bat for your fellow group members. We're more than a bunch of ME3 players, we've become a group of friends, and I love that. Friends have each other's backs, no matter what. However, friends also let each other know when to back down, when a fight/argument isn't worth it, and when it's best to just back away. If we get into any such situations, let's show some class and take the high road. Most people who insult us are simply looking to troll and get a rise from us. Don't give them what they want.

I'm proud that all of you are my groupmates, and while it's best to simply stick to our thread, if you venture out, remember to play it cool, because some people think you represent all of us. If we're ***holes, that might put off potential new members, and the group's all about them. We know how good we are, we don't need to prove it to anyone, and we don't need to engage in petty arguments with those looking to pick fights with us.

If you see posts from Optimistman or Tahroo, leave them alone.

Agreed completely. I went way too far in an attempt to defend Snyper in a thread (I honestly should have let him take care of it himself for one) and honestly I feel a bit bad for making this wonderful group look hostile. I would really like to urge others to not make my mistake. I may face a bit of punishment for it here (not sure), but it just is not worth it to entertain these people and I hope the rest of this group can learn from my mistake.

I should be around quite a bit after I get some sleep here. You may want to add me on Xbox (gamertag same as forum name) since I may or may not have a ban of some sort hitting me here soon from some drama in a thread. I will still be playing ME3 if the site ban doesn't affect MP, so anyone can feel free to message me (running low on spots for friends though) and I will do my best to get in games with everyone.

Anyone need a player and thanks to everyone in that thread but it's been proven you can lead someone to water but can't make them drink if he isn't willing to be civil and talk without throwing insults he isn't worth our time but it was nice to see how many people had my back...now whose backpack can I hop in since I'm a scrub and a leech
