I also skip tac scan because I never used it. That was the best build for me that I found. 

With happiness, I use tactical scan alot, I use it to reload cancel and see where the enemies are, with slight embarassment, which is why AreleX I tac scan trash.

3 Adepts and 1 Vanguard on Jade using only pistols (no doubling pistols or characters) wins the poll. Start getting some practice in here soon tourney members, a couple teams have already had plenty of time to play with each other and get used to things.

And to the reserves, the same should apply to you as well practicing with those characters. You never know when you may get called upon by a team in need of a 4th! (reserves should still be open for sign ups, keep signing up if you are interested)

First off guys I would like to say every challenge polled had equal parts suck in it. Next round will be handled much better and all captains will be made aware and post suggestions with input from their team. There needs to be better communication posting in this thread isn't enough to make people aware of the goings on. There are multiple threads concerning the tournament. There needs to be direct contact such as PM, Xbox live message, or MSN.

First thing we need to clear exactly what this challenge stipulates. I have got contradicting reports already in this page from the captains who developed them so they are not all on the same page.

1. 3 adepts and 1 vanguard. No doubling of characters

2. weapons only pistols. Is there also no doubling of weapons because I have heard yes and no.

3. what is the enemy? The enemy should be specified to make the challenge consistent.

4. Firebase Jade is the location

4. difficulty level gold

Oh yeah and got a two day reprieve. Got tomorrow and the day after completely free. Mix up with the dates. I start college on the 6th. That's ample time to get an 8 minute Biotic Run on Jade.

First of all if anyone is interested in getting my msn which I never actually use then feel free to PM me. I'm not exactly into Social Media but if it helps communication.

Second of all I second that the challenges were too constricted this time around. It isn't too bad since it's the Pistol category but imagine if it was the SMG? Somehow forced into using the Locust or Shuriken wouldn't be fun. Especially given how you have an entire week to complete the challenge. I don't think it's right to cap weaponry... you should be relying on the community to be as awesome as they can be with variation.

If Slayin's team all use Piranhas then less fun to them (no offense to Slayin's team, just an example). I know there are quite a few powerful weapons in each category (the only pistol that sucks horribly is the Eagle, provided you like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome).)

What we need are true challenges such as the Batarian Eagle Run and the Geth Melee Only Run. This is about fun remember.

So the one thing that should be restricted isn't? it doesn't make much sense if we are trying to accurately compare teams abilities and times to one another. Might as well have open maps to.
