[AreleX]

This marks the 5,000th post in the group thread!

I hope everyone has had as good of a time with the group as I have. This thread originally started as a place for Relix, Bechter, and myself to get a 4th person for our speed run competitions against PC, and has grown into much more. I'm proud of all the members, and have met a lot of great people through it.

In honor of the event, what's been your favorite moment as a member of the group?

Too many great moments to come up with a favorite for sure. Mine may just be the epic fail of a wave Tatty and I had in the same wave, too many laughs were had at that. Also, even though he wont admit it, AreleX had a pretty nasty wave himself after that (no where near as bad though).

I also remember the first time I played with AreleX thinking that guy was pretty overrated (kidding!). My first day with him he took me under his wing and molded me into a giant scrub in his backpack!

Best laugh from that epic fail was getting hit by the same ravager I had just killed (respawned really close), so I Fury dodged into the room right into the puddle of acid from the previous ravager and died. I don't think I have ever laughed so much at this game.

First game I played with the group was the batarian sentinel with common weapons on giant. Not sure what the results of that challenge were, I think the pc crew flaked out on it.

they all used mattocks and we were like ****** on that and didn't finish it

first match in the group was me defleshing goosh and zephyr goosh platinum cerberus on reactor....goosh got gooshed zephyr was glitched into a box defleshing got killed and a turret placed on his head eating all 5 of his medigels and i got gooshed as well.....on wave 1....

I think I saw a vid with the pc guys modding the mouse to fire the mattock like the harrier.

So, if it was "first match with the crew" for me it was a platinum speed run on glacier. There were Arelex, Snyper(?) and another one which I can't remember.
I had a Piranha 1 I think... and those run were really fast, even If I was a complete noob.
The funniest one? uhm...
I think the drell-adept only reapers/jade/gold. I'd have to check who I was in the team with though

Too many awesome moments but I have two favourites. Getting up at 2am the night we broke 12 minutes on platinum because it was the only time AreleX, Relix, Bechter and myself could all be on at the same time. It was a frustrating night but breaking 12 minutes was a great feeling and a definite favourite moment.

But my absolute favourite was the second time I played with AreleX, Relix and Bechter after joining the group. They were going after the Reapers Gold time the PC players had put up and they invited me as their fourth. I was sure they would have done better with someone else, but it was amazing to asked to join.

Let's see. Another favorite moment was being the person that discovered Bob the Elcor. I saw his original post about not knowing his timezone and pointed him out to AreleX and Bechter. After that he became LEGEN (wait for it).... DARY!

There was also the Hold the Reactor game with Tatty where he started singing the Batarian Whaler song, put a giant smile on my face since I hadn't heard it and thought he made it up.

With slight embarassment, I am not sure if I even fired a single shot or used a single power.

I have had an amazing time with this group so far and I think all moments I have played with anyone from this group have been fantastic. From the first few Glacier runs I did while learning with SlimJim and Arelex to fun games like this with TattyUD & Slim I have had a blast. I couldn't ask for a better group to play with and I was amazed at how many friends I made as well.

Eagle runs, Flamer runs, Melee runs, Speed runs etc... and of course the tournament has been the highlight of my Mass Effect experience from ME1 until now. Thanks for that everyone, seriously.

I'd like to give special thanks to my tournament team. SlimJim, Defleshing and deafmedal. You guys are the bomb. AMAZING teamwork like I have never seen!

i trained bob the elcor and helped him maximize his time warping abilities resulting in the platinum game where he transcended score....

Dont lie tatty, you know your favorite memories are all of the matches you have played with me. 

As for me, I would have to say the best times were the rambo demolisher vid against reapers and of course my times playing with sir Elcor.
