I hope everyone has had as good of a time with the group as I have. This thread originally started as a place for Relix, Bechter, and myself to get a 4th person for our speed run competitions against PC, and has grown into much more. I'm proud of all the members, and have met a lot of great people through it.

In honor of the event, what's been your favorite moment as a member of the group?

my first ballsac eagle run. arelex me tatty and relix i think? it was my first time playing with arelex, and tatty. there was also the day i maxed my manifest. and my first sub 13 min platinum speed run. more recently my team putting up a 13 min run with biotics.thanks for the good times all of team arelex! i feel the need to mention tidalleaf as well him tatty and myself had more fun matches when i first joined this group than i can remember.

Not exactly during the Team AreleX era but this deserves a mention. My first and currently only appearance on AreleX's channel. It was great to be invited for such a run especially given how we met... I believe that was also the run he sent me a message saying "use the f***ing" Justicar lol. I was using a non-human Sentinel so... (yeah I sucked back then lol, inb4YouSuckNow).

Oh yeah, also outside of Team AreleX (lmao) was the beginning of my reign as Lord High King of Gooshing. 7 gooshes. 1 game. How... the.. ****...

In Team AreleX though there are too many to name. Most happen to involve Tatty, Navi, Bob the Elcor and HeroicMass but that's more to do with the simple fact that three of them are fellow Brits and Mass is our token American (we ain't no racists!) Great times indeed. A shoutout to Biopoesis though for giving me a hearing of  Biopoesis vs. Reapers, great stuff right there.

A shoutout to Biopoesis though for giving me a hearing of  Biopoesis vs. Reapers, great stuff right there.

i also have to give a shoutout to Bio, so much fun to play with her, especially when she got surprised by things. i remember playing with her for over 20 hours the weekend i met her, to bad she doesnt really play anymore

I appreciated BioWare buffing me a couple of weeks ago, but I thought my run in WyldStar's video for the tournament made it clear that I'm not a scrub anymore, and didn't need another buff.  Oh, well, I'll take it.  

In all seriousness about the 5,000th post: the most fun I had in this groups was definitely with this tournament.  It's hard to single out a single run other than our fastest one, but just the general camraderie of running a plan with a full team for so many games in a row was exactly what I always wanted out of this multiplayer experience from day 1 and never got until I joined this group.

Second most fun was either a Batarian Whaler match or the time we cooked deafmedal's gooshed body for about 30 seconds with Flamers and Reegars when there was one Banshee left on Goddess, both were games with SlimJim, deafmedal, and LoneWolf.

My first run in this group was with Tidal Leaf on Glacier Gold with two PUGs since he sent me an invite shortly after my joining the group and asking for help.  The PUGs messed up any attempt at trying speedrun strategy, so I just watched in amazement as he dominated the scoreboard with a QFE.  My first run with a full lobby of Team AreleX players was a training session with Bechter, SlimJim, and Grumpamen, which was information overload trying to learn Glacier strategy and the positioning for all the waves.  Still happy that night was my first intro to Platinum and we posted a 13:14 full extraction on my fourth game.  All good times.

Glad I have been the center piece of your enjoyment! (kidding) That roasting of deafmedal's body was indeed hilarious and I started the whole thing!

He got to return the favor a bit ago and shot my dead body up. I warned him the next time he died he would get a missile from me, so he proceeded to get the act done to me first.

I do want to give you a special shout out Bechter, I wouldn't be a member of Team AreleX probably if not for you. I appreciate all the offers you made me when I was still with all my friends and then still giving me an opportunity once they bailed and I stuck around. I also want to thank you, AreleX, Relix, and Tatty especially for the advice and strategies you helped me get the hang of when I first jumped into speed running. It was a bit overwhelming at first how quickly you guys wiped everything out, but after a couple of games I got the hang of things and hope I have
improved more then you guys expected from me.

slow night so ill share another story. party rifle run before the buff,all human soldiers, three of us trying to save bechter from the banshee and failing terribly. lol'd hard that night video evidence can by found on the group page. it might have been worse than the eagle back then. edit the sad lack of any interesting conversation or trolling on bsn these days is less than entertaining. this will be my last post, thanks to all who have spent countless hours playing with me. looking forward to going out with a bang and winning this tournament with my team. for tuchanka!

what great games tonight. Managed to get the wraith X and Javelin VIII thanks to the wonderful slimjim lobby.

More importantly though, managed the coveted 50 pistol kills with the eagle in my last game with geekfest, snyper and slimjim. What a way to end the night. Eagle for the win!

Can't break tradition and not thank Slim for another ultra rare. Unfortunate though that he saw our eagle strategy. Our secret is out.
