I have a player on my team with no mic, I still want them playing regardless. Would I like them to have a mic? Of course, but it really isn't needed and this is for fun.

Well if you guys really don't mind, i would love to join in. 

I am good with you joining. Like I said, this is for fun and the more people the better my opinion. (Each team could potenially have two games going at a time almost)

I would like to have some 'freestyle' challenges. Nothing predefined, just teams going and doing something creative and interesting, you know for style points and fun.

This could be a way to keep everything competitive throughout in case one team falls behind.  We could issue them a separate challenge to attain for bonus points.  I want to make sure every team has the chance to be in it throughout so no one loses interest.

I don't want it to be only speedruns personally, but I also don't care for Slayin's idea FWIW. Maybe if we limit guns to a certain type on say a Biotic run or something I am good with that since we will mainly be using powers anyways, but I don't want to take an Avenger wielding Human Soldier into a game since that would just bore me to use more than once.

We should mix it up. Something like...

Round 1 High Score on X map.
Round 2 Conditional challenge. I.E. all Krogan, Biotics only with SMGs etc..
Round 3 Speedrun on X map.

I challenge everyone to make a Praetorian jump into the waters of Rio where his crab ass belongs, GO!

Ok here is the format. It is more of a league style than a tournament.

Round 1 will last until the end of next week due to holidays and people needing a warm up and a chance to play with the team. We also need time to vote on the rest of the challenges. Then we will go to a 3-4 day time frame for rounds to keep things fresh. We will have a main team challenge and a side challenge at the same time. A lot of these we need community feedback to fill in details.

Round 1 warmup
Full team hazard Reactor/Reapers/Gold. Only unique new dlc characters, no armored compartments
Duo White/Cerberus/Gold. No restrictions

Round 2
Full team gold run conditions TBD
High score challenge

Round 3
Full team gold conditions TBD
Duo gold conditions TBD

Round 4
Full team gold or plat TBD
Eagle challenge! (HeroicMass must use predator )

Round 5
pure team plat speedrun no restrictions map/enemy TBD
duo plat TBD


Scoring system-

Full team: first place 8 points, second 6, third 4, fourth 2

Duos teams can submit more than 1 run (not using the same players, best 2 duos per team eligible): 1st & 2nd 4 points, 3rd & 4th 3, 5th & 6th 2, 7th & 8th 1.

eagle challenge and most points are full team: 1st 4 points, 2nd 3, 3rd 2, 4th 1

There are no eliminations this time around. No stress of trying to squeeze out every last second. Team with the most points at the end of round 5 wins.

For events that are to be determined we want to get community feedback and put them to a vote. There are lots of ideas out there for characters and combinations.

Most medals challenge.

Gold medals worth 5 points, Silver worth 3, Bronze worth 1.

Based off most medals and best time, so every 10 seconds you go above the best posted time you lose 2 points off your medal count.

Also, waves survived medals are worth double points. So 3 waves survived is 2 points, 5 waves worth 6 points, and 10 waves is 10 points.

Thoughts?

Not often enough

I usually play Tuesday & Thursday 6:30pm-12:00AM Pacific time & most of the day on sundays.

Don't know if i will be able to play tuesday though
