Never saw that at all honestly. I figured even without recording we could trust the teams not to do it, but oh well. I apologize then since I thought the rules were no Warp/Incendiary which is what I told my team as well.

To be honest I wish we had enough team members or time amongst our few to even get a strategy going beyond the 4 or 5 games we got for each challenge we did do well on giant though considering.

I never even heard the 'no incendiary' rule mentioned, but I came in pretty late to this round... so I have
no idea.  Anyhow, incendiary made no sense for me to use since our only adept with warp was on the other side of the map.. heh.

Curious as to where Geekfest noted the rule change. I have gone back like 6-7 pages and didn't see it at all and the last thing I saw it wasn't allowed. Not that big of a deal honestly, just curious since I don't remember it being posted and didn't see it in my PMs.

Yeah idc either way, I just wanted clarification since I was told that combo was so "op" it wasn't allowed so we made sure it wasnt done at all every run. I just thought it would have been nice to know.

If there are going to be changes to rules (especially during the runs) please message me on Xbox about it. I haven't checked the AreleX site much lately and some days this thread moves much quicker than others and post will be missed.

It isn't that big of a deal for this one as Bechter's team clearly had a better strategy, but it could have shaved a decent bit of time off still (ability to leave enemies to move to another area) and I would not be too happy if other rules were to get changed and my team misses out since no one told us.

That said, very nice strategy Bechter. Ours was very similar except we had our Vanguard start at extraction and clear the bottom. We switched double Banshee waves to the same area you guys were hitting in our last couple of runs, but definitely weren't killing them quite as quickly as you all were.

Nobody on my team used incendiary ammo, but it was allowed. You were told about it, though the PM was here on bsn instead of xbox.

No question my strategry and ammo choices:devil: Yes it was changed before the start of this week and that stipulation was removed from the schdule post. We felt that it had it had many legitimate uses other than warp/inc bug (fire exolosions, panic enemies, multipliers vs health and armor.). Again I believe people are forgeting how much of change and handicap no rockets really is. There were also only 2 characters that had access to it. Also warp than shooting is often slower than just shooting the enemy that provided the warp evens lands. Banshees can negate all dot with their denial hand. We tried many different ammo types and got pretty much the same results minus objective variances, We had probably a dozen times under 14:30.

Bechter, Slim, SilentBlade and I gave the eagle run some tests and we think we came up with a solution that makes the weapons for the eagle and sniper runs prominent without too many restrictions.

The way the tournament scoring works is a team gets 8 points for the 4 man run and 4(x2) for the duos and trios. The weapons challenges will get up to 4 points for the fastest time and 4 for the weapon part. 1 point for each teammate that gets either the 10 headshot medal or 25 weapon kill medal.

The idea is to encourage weapon use without becoming too tedious or too restrictive. You are welcome to grenade all the spawns but make sure the grenades don't steal from your weapon kills. It's just as important to get the weapon medals in as the total time.

Yea, I think the ladders were far more dangerous than any of the enemy spawns back there, sadly.  Especially when I fell right next to that possesed. :blink:

I need atleast 2 more weeks out of you especially since im helping you out with your little jam. Also your relationship with Liara in single player does not count as a girlfriend. I know bioware brought alot of life to these characters but lets not bring them into this. :P We have a tournament to win.
