I was just saying it's better to have players helping the newcomers (such as Sim46), ofcourse we could easily do that with "superfast" runs but it's better for them if you were to slowly introduce over one or two games (again easy enough). But it's inevitable someone will be left out if "serious" groups are made. I mean there's what 120 people in this group now?Out of those only about 20 of them even visit this thread regularly (or at least that many post on this thread).

I'm not saying anyone's gonna get abandoned just that their will be less focus on newcomers who need help to get to the level of "superfast speedruns". You know what I think the best way to have fun is to just do what the PC guys are doing and do silly BS like that all Soldier PPR run that's on your channel.

zHHk said himself that they only do Glacier speedruns if people break the record (and I am inclined to believe given how quickly he broke the previous one) it seems we farm the hell out of it for creds and to teach newer guys aswell as to break the record. There is little fun in running Platinum Glacier with a Gethfiltrator for 2 hours straight.

I don't mean to sound negative but it would be really nice just to goof around with stupendous builds and loadouts and just actually have fun, but unlike you I just don't find Glacier that fun (though the community here is). I do it because of the 550k creds an hour, to help the newcomers grow accustomed to it and to attempt to break the record. There is nothing fun about Platinum anyways but Glacier is a boring, overly organised map. It'd be nice once in a while to run around Ghost like a chicken with it's head cut off and see how it goes, no spawn controlling, just four guys/gals having as much fun as possible before a probably inevitable and gruesome end.

Oh yeah and I meant you were abandoning Bechter himself and not Team Minutemen (In EDI's words; "That was a joke")

Doesn't matter Goosh, there are already communication issues - I'm pretty sure I'm one of the only people that easily understands you.

@slimjim I'm willing to take some more serious runs at it. Can also record if necessary. We had some pretty good times last night considering how many rockets we had left over. You held down the balcony like a champ. We'll have a little planning session in the lobby next time so we coordinate rocketing all the things.

Good games last night to SlimJim, Seajay, Sandman, Colonolel O'neill, and DxWill. For anyone new to the group I'd recommend adding Team Arelex on xbl and also watch the thread for open spots. I found Sandman that way and that was great. We had to open to randoms a few times and would much rather play with the group.

With the progess Team Arelex is making I think we will have something great to announce shortly hopefully before the nerf the Pirahna to have the rate of fire of the javelin, Locust Damage, and Claymore weight. The nerf wars make me sick on this sight . Just play the damn game. Also I am all for helping get a 3rd team together to do serious runs. Especially if we get 12 plus guys going for it their will pretty much always be four guys on if  group wants to take a crack at it. PM me if you want any more info.

Nah he made it to extraction just was rather startled. He claimed it was cause he was tired. I think he wanted to curl into the fedal position out of fear . Thats why he has a tendancy to double rocket brutes just to make sure they are dead and don't come back Jason Voorhees style to goosh him.

I am not saying I want to ditch playing with new players at all and still enjoy helping someone new learn the ropes. Only thing I was looking for is a group that isn't rotating 1 to 2 players frequently to take a serious shot at it. I like to have fun as well, the all Fury FBW Platinum runs I did with Arelex were a blast. I just feel like I could do some sub 12 min runs with the right group given practice.
