Yep, the best players on the forums rarely speak up. If I hadnt opened one of the speed run threads I never would have known that topographer was godly with that claymore.

I have a problem:

If team mate is down, I rush.

Then again, I am a dodge god (without lag), and executed players watching me usually point that out.

However, being good at dodgedancing isn't enough to kill enemies.

There are many great players on BSN but they pale in numbers to the great players who never post or have no idea about this site. There is always someone better.

I don't buy anybody scoring 100k every match unless they play all the time with the same three crappy players or are always doing unkown unkown. I'm decent and usually end on top of the board in that range, but I'll end up around 80k if there is another good player and even lower if multiple players turn out to be skilled. There are only so many kills out there, and whatever you think of yourself, you probably aren't that special.

Missiles aren't to get your score higher, they are to speed up rounds-not using them is nothing to brag about.

This is very true, if you throw two decent players into a game, you're not going to see the really high scores of 150+ most of the time

However I play with random people a lot and there's varely rarely that many good players so I'll often score pretty high

when I play with a friend or two my score is generally a lot lower than with pugs

I would love to see a tournament of the 'top' players. Choose your class, face off against two or three others. Anything goes. Kill steals allowed. No rezing. Perhaps a referee do the objectives.

They wouldn't make it past Wave 6.  You can't be bothered to cap objectives when you need to run your score
up.  Capping objectives is for losers (2nd, 3rd, & 4th place).


Edit: Correction.  Make that Wave 3.

This is why I use (extremely) competent to describe my abilities. I often hit 1st in pubs but a good player (or two) can knock me down.

I typically only hit 4th when I play FBWGG after being dumped there 10 times and do decoy spam while reading on my phone (waiting for objective waves). **** all you want about letting you play how you want to play, but FBWGG is ruining my fun.
