I currently have XP Pro and I have ME3 collectors edition.
My question is what do I need to do to back up all of my ME3 files to an EXT HD
I play MP alot and have many DLC downloads.
If I install ME3 on Win7, will Orgin download all my stuff to my upgraded PC?
Doing my Home work to make a decision.
The XP Pro is a gaming PC and plays everything nice
thank you for any info

DLC is linked to your account so you can redownload them. Unlockables are also linked to your account. As for save files, copy the folder that contains your saves and profile settings to a USB stick or other storage device: Documents -> BioWare -> Mass Effect 3 -> Save

Copy entire Mass Effect 3 folder. This way you keep achievements and settings. Though the latter may need changing after upgrade.

I have an 120 GB SSD HD on the way for the install of Win7 Pro.
Here is my plan
ME3 files are located in the program folder on the 2nd 250 Sata HD
I will un-pulg the Sata 250 HD cable and begin Win7 Pro install on the new 120 GB SSD HD.
Then after install is complete. I will shut down PC and plug in the sata cable to 2nd HD
What I wonder is will I have to re-install the games when they are located on the 2nd HD?
I will let you know how the upgrade goes.

Why would you unplug the other drive? In the windows 7 installation you can pick which partition/drive you want to install to. As for if you need to re-install, I haven't tried that with origin yet, so I am not sure. If it works like steam, you may not need to.
