is incredible.
It seems there are many people posting on these forums picking apart the storyline, not in ways to reveal items that don't align, but rather what they believe should be there.
The option to usurp authority, the option to romance different characters, etc.

I see how vile these threads become and how a BioWare response is usually attacked and just wonder, do people realize the BioWare doesn't have to respond to forums?
Look at Turbine.
NONE of the developers respond to forums, as they used to.

If people want their views in a game so badly, make one.
This game was made by BioWare, and made well.

Buying a game doesn't mean you own the game company.

?? That blasted salesman lied to me! He used that as a sales-pitch on me and I beleived him! Cant believe I dont have my rights to demand  whatever bothers me be fixed immediately.

At least those people are using the service provided by Bioware to give feedback on a product they have purchased and are passionate about. What are you doing besides instigating a flame war?

Nah, everyone knows that Bioware employees don't have real feelings. Not like the rest of us do, anyway.



Constructive criticism is generally welcomed, as are fan ideas. Sadly, this being a human world and a human intarwebz, people will voice their opinions both constructively and not. Not saying that the "OMFG I CAN'T SEE MY CHARACTERS BLINK BIOWARE SUXXORZ" is a good thing, but they're pretty used to it by now.

This is actually pretty mild. The raging over at the Gears of War 2 forums about the lack of dedicated servers was a neigh unstoppable force that could barely be contained.



Threads that complain about the complainers just add to the problem though, keep that in mind. >.>

It's called a forum.... People post their opinions good and bad. You do have a choice to read or not to read. How about exersizing that right instead of complaining about complaining?

I'm so sick of everyone asking for personal changes to the game... who do you think you are! Get over yourselves and build your own s*** with the toolset!

Yes, well. This is nothing new. As I've pointed out before, people don't go to the customer service desk at a store to tell them how well the place is running. And many people see this as a place to vent because they think that there are people who will listen to them (if not us, then all of you). That's human nature. At least they're committed, right?

Then again, maybe you're all freaks. That's right. I said it.

No.

The people who make complaints and demands about the game, however misguided or truthful that they are, are doing so in hopes that it will be fixed. Those that whine about others that may or may not have legit complaints at the game serve no purpose but to stir up drama; all they are doing is venting, and without even the excuse about it being a perceived problem with the game.

And the irony of me typing this out has not escaped me.

If you'd like another one, it's the number of complaints and demands. You only have "amount" for things that can't be counted, like blood or love.

Not necessarily, "amount" is also used when referring to a combined total, i.e. two or more things aggregated into a group.  Like a correct amount of change.  The usage of "amount" in his case is correct.
