Oops. What I meant to say that "One could argue" rather than I would argue. My appologies.

Anyways, I completely believe that Jacob and Thane are on par with eachother, just in very different departments.

Jacob recognises the romance - Thane doesn't
Jacob cheated on Fem!Shepard - Thane remained true to her
BOTH are derailed from their character development in ME2

Fair enough. I would still argue that Thane recognizes his romance more than Jacob does his. But like emeraldfern says, we're arguing over whether a rotten orange tastes worse than a rotten apple. We both agree they taste like ****!

On topic, I don't hold with the idea that Morinth got the worst treatment in ME3, mostly because I think she got the worst treatment(squadmate-wise) in ME2. They made her a quasi-space vampire with few(if any) redeeming qualities as a character. So my opinion of her treatment in ME3, just like my opinion of Jacob's treatment, is a reflection of my opinion of their characters in ME2. But then again, isn't that the case for pretty much everybody?

You could apply the rotton apple/orange logic to everyone mentioned on this thread really.

I feel bad for people who chose Morinth. I've never saved her once but I can see the appeal.

Got 3 playthroughs where saved her, completed 1st one a month ago, one fun thing about it, killing her with Cain :wizard:

"How do you stop an Ardat Yakshi turned Banshee?" "Simple, bring out the CAIN!"

Her feet hadn't even hit the ground by the time it hit her ^_^

Whilst that is fun, I think they should have had her appear during the Ardat-Yakshi Monastery mission, have her strapped up to a reaper machine creating Banshees, she sees Shepard, has a bit of dialogue, the machine then transforms her into a Banshee (as Reapers see her as the perfect 'Shepard' killing tool), you then fight her there.

To follow on from that idea, would have been interesting that if you didn't do Samara's loyalty mission, instead of Morinth killing her off-screen, you see Samara get transformed by Morinth into a Banshee, just before they both attack Shepard.

I'm saying this because I am sure I remember seeing in the original leaked stuff that it was the Ardat-Yakshi that were being used to turn Asari into Banshees, so would've been interesting to see the process in-game and would have made more sense than the e-mail linking to the fact she went to London, got caught by the Reapers and turned into a Banshee all off-screen.
