i will buy either way but i do understand people wanting it to have an affect on the ending. just seems pointless otherwise. Maybe give us an advantage over the reapers, not like the advantage the quarians got over the geth but just find a weakness and exploit it

otherwise it's like sweet 50 more war assets /sarcasm       or i get to learn more about the reapers creators but don't benefit from it

I would like to know your opinion on the matter.

If it's good, has interesting story and the price is reasonable, then why not?

If it somehow allows me to permamently recruit Grunt into my team, then I'll buy it the minute it is released.

If it can alter the ending based on how you play it sure. Otherwise, most likely no.

If using Leviathan allows me to be able to defeat the reapers with the Refuse choice, heck yeah.

Not likely.

Yep I'll buy it. Have purchased every dlc to date.   It does however need a strong dose of harbinger to make him relevant again

Yes, I would, because so far the Mass Effect team's track record on DLC has been pretty good.

Good:
- Lair of the Shadow Broker (the ur-DLC that all DLC should strive to be)
- Kasumi: Stolen Memory (funny character, loyalty mission had some great interaction)

Decent:
- Zaeed: The Price of Revenge (character's decent, mission was sort of hamhanded and bland)
- Arrival (good story, couple plot holes, booo lack of squad interaction)
- Overlord (same as arrival)
- Bring Down the Sky (for ME1, this is actually damn good, but it pales when compared to the later games)

Bad:
- Pinnacle Station (what's a story, combat waves aren't fun in single player or with ME1 mechanics)
- Firewalker (same problem as pinnacle station, also that thing was made of tissue paper)
- Normandy Crash Site (largely due to wasted potential here, this was actually decent otherwise)

So, going over the list... anything they've actually put WORDS into has been at least decent, if not damned awesome. Given that track record, I'll probably skip their non-story DLC, but pick up every piece of story content they release.

Well if it just gets me more EMS so I know have over 9,000 and yet does not change the endings, I will probably not buy it.

Yes. I will buy every story DLC that is released (as long it doesn't cost more than €10).

Stuff I'd want from the DLC includes:

New recruitable Squadie (Batarian ftw)
New enemies (Indoctronated mercs or something prehaps)
New weapons and other goodies

But yeah, if its just shooting wave after wave of endless cerberus troops I dunno, thats what MP is for. Also hasn't bioware said that they wern't adding anything else to the current endings? I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Probably not. Depends though, if they put a good amount of stuff in it, and it gets good reviews, then I will. But the reason I probably won't is value for money.

Main game = $60 on release. DLC will most likely be $10. Am I getting 1/6th the value of the game with this DLC? Past history indicates otherwise:
- Kasumi wasn't worth $7.
- A 20 minute mission and an (allegedly) removed character was not worth $10.
- Arrival wasn't worth any amount of money.

Basically Overlord is the only one I can genuinely say I thought was value for money, simply because it introduced a few different elements with a good self-contained story. Shadow Broker perhaps as well, although I'm not sure there given they relied on people being attached to the first story.

Of course the argument is "well it's worth whatever people will pay for it". I agree with that entirely, hence why I will most likely not be buying this if it follows the trend they've already begun for ME3.

Yes, we never really interacted with the Reapers in the game proper, which was one of its biggest flaws and letdowns

I agree with this. Really hated the Cerberus thing, they should have been a very minor sub-plot at best. Fighting and finding out more about the Reapers should have been the main focus of the game. So if it sheds more light on the Reapers this DLC is welcome.

Yeah, I'd buy it but only because it would delay the inevitable ending of my playthroughs
