You do know that every Soldier has the responsibility to NOT carry out orders which are questionable. At least that`s how it works in Germany. Orders are no excuse for committing crimes.

It IS death, of our genetic code. What we were has been co-opted and used as raw material for something else, something Synthesized. What we are after Synthesis isn't ****** sapiens, it's ****** sapiens synthesiensis. ****** sapiens is now extinct.

How so?

I wrote specifically ****s that comitted warcrimes. For some reason you included an SS soldier. Despite it being commonly known that most of the Waffen SS were just simple soldiers. So what does that have to do with me saying that there is a difference between the Germans and the ****s who were responsible for doing the warcrimes?

Sometimes you have no choice. You'd understand that if you've heard the stories from this ex-SS soldier that I knew (he's death now, may he rest in peace).

The only reason why they even did that was cause the Quarians blew up their little sphere were they were all uploaded. Basically them joining the Geth, was their retard moment, since the Quarians made them dumb.

Because synthesis is an abomination that is colored up to be the "perfect utopia" based on the ramblings of a malfunctioning AI that started a cycle of genocide and death based on the assumption that synthetics and organics a can never co-exist when his solution is the main reason they can't co-exist. You are turning everyone into a perversion of their former selves against their will. The reapers deserve nothing more than to be destroyed for their slaughter of races for the past millions of years. And while the deaths of the Geth and EDI are regrettable. They would understand and gladly sacrifice themselves to see an end to the Reapers for good. I also consider it an act of mercy that the Geth and EDI die as what they choose to be than live as a sick perversion of what they once were.

Reapers deserve death and none of your squad save perhaps EDI would choose synthesis if they were given the same choice Shepard was.

The line of reasoning I'm seeing from you is that Reapers can't be forgiven because they're machines who are designed to perform monstrous acts. This may be a valid point. However, what do you believe is the "forgiveness threshold?" Does Shepard's actions during Arrival pass that threshold?

What I'm seeing on BSN is a whole lot of sweeping generalizations, false analogies, binary logic, and association fallacies/Godwin's law. This is coming from people in all camps, and it's getting rather irritating. Admittedly, even I'm guilty of these fallacies, but the extent of the hostilities on this forum is rather mindbloggling. I've only been here for 4 days, and the environment is just so hostile.

Taking into account lines about how what was broken can be rebuilt, there's at least a possibility that Destroy won't be quite that bad, and even so, it's far more justifiable than Refusal. I'm not really vehemently opposed to Destroy.

Actually the rest of the galaxy (including EDI) would turn on them so fast if they did that there heads would spin.

When they volunteered to help Shepard with the war they volunteered to put their lives on the line (and give them up if necessary) to defeat the Reapers. ALL of them did. Anyone backing down from that should be treated as a deserter.
