@Withidread, it's not that ATI cards don't support it, it's just that you have to have it installed for the game to work. I have an ATI 4850 and had to install PhysX for another game that said it needed it. It has never given mer any grief with any game, and DA works fine with it installed.
Actually, ATI cards "don't" support it. Only NVidia GPUs have PhysX hardware support. If you don't have an NVidia GPU then it switches itself and runs from the CPU instead. Or you can find an Aegia PhysX card (hard to do though since NVidia stopped making them after buying the company).

Many games use the CPU-based PhysX, including this one. Neither a dedicated PhysX adapter, nor an nVIDIA card is required. However, this game will skip over installing its own version, if there's already a version installed. You have to uninstall what's there now (which isn't compatible with the game), and then run the PhysX install on your game DVD.Teufelhunda wrote...
I keep getting an error when I try to start the game, PhysXLoader.dll is not found. I've reinstalled four times now. Anyone know a solution?

Ah, well, I wish it were otherwise, but I don't think that Intel video chip is compatible with PhysX, but even if it was, the video chip would be far too slow to use in this game, really.dynamite dean wrote...

If that doesn't fix it, I suggest you roll back your drivers.
Also, don't get up month old topics just post your own.
