I want to see it for myself, but ive seen a few comptetent gamer with it and it seems to be the right gun for classes where a revenant is just that tad bit too heavy

I can't believe people are saying it needs a buff. It is easily the best AR in the game.
Sure, maybe it could use more reserve ammo, but it is a killing machine.

Try on bronze? a gun has to prove itself on gold before i consider it, on bronze EVERYTHING does win
The harrier at level 1 wont replace my revenant on most classes, especially because its weight, its not of use for what i wanted it, maybe once it got higher levels, it can become a gun i will use on more then a few chosen classes (i just love having 508 bullets that make noise like a army of angry krogan on red sand)

Sure. Most of them suck. This one doesn't. It actually has the best sustained dps in the game. The Hurricane may be slightly higher, but the Harrier has better stability and accuracy, plus armor piercing mods. That's not to say it is the best gun in the game, as many other guns fill other functions better than it can.SinerAthin wrote...

To be the best AR in the game really doesn't mean that much, given how badly ARs sucks in this game...

I only suggested bronze to simply get aquainted with the weapon...It will pleasantly surprise you in gold i'm sure.

It did, except that it had to move from ammo box to ammo, not once stay still

I would actually say for "Harrier training" Bronze isnt a bad idea, so long as you put headshots as a priority. Bronze is just an easy way to get used to the recoil, minimal spread, and the idea of burst firing at longer ranges to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
Silver and Gold can obviously be played right away with the weapon, but are far more unforgiving while you get used to it, often forcing you to go fully auto because you're panicking, and less efficient with the gun than you should be. Bronze just allows you to really practice on getting headshots, and making every shot count, so that after a few games of practice when you step up to silver and gold you should be far more proficient.
As for the gun itself, the ammo capacity is the biggest problem by far. I'd like to see the base ammo increased by 40 rounds (120/20 starting) and perhaps an extra 10 rounds added to the overall range of the weapon from 1-10 (a level 10 would have 150/20).
The DPS is wonderful, but the weight combined with the low ammo capacity, relegate the weapon to specific playstyles/class builds, which is unfortunate... a small ammo buff wouldnt drastically change things, but could make it a bit more appealing for more classes.

Did you ever shoot a Geth Hunter in the face with the Harrier? Not only does it stagger, it knocks him on his ass.
You must be doing something very, very wrong.Disciple888 wrote...
