Lol @ learn to use. Graal and claymore are much harder to use than the harrier gimme a break.

Remember that people are different and they have different opinions. Which is great.

Would be boring to read: "I completely agree" 100 times over to every post.

Harrier is awesome. Harrier needs more extra ammo.

It doesn't need a buff. Its a great AR. Batarian spec'ed for extra ammo.....its a very viable option for any level of map.

I can't believe people are saying it needs a buff. It is easily the best AR in the game.

Sure, maybe it could use more reserve ammo, but it is a killing machine.

Agreed.  Great gun.  I have a level 1 and it kicks butt as is.  Ammo capacity is the issue, and encumbrance.  Mind you I offset that with some classes using Structural Ergonomics.  Otherwise great gun and really would like to receive further drops to upgrade it.

BW, do not buff (or nerf for that matter) the Harrier.  Perfect as is.

You can take an Atlas down on Gold in under 10 secs using a level 1 Harrier.

That is complete hyperbole. The Harrier doesn't have the power at level 10 to do that, let alone at level 1. You would have to strip the shields completely and it would still be questionable, being able to finish it off with just the Harrier in 10 seconds.

Come play with me and watch my harrier, I can kill one in a few seconds. Reload canceling and using AR when its up, thing drops.

The claymore is hard to use? Wow, I feel sorry for you, I really do.

Every other AR is obsolete in the face of the Harrier, except for maybe the GPR, Revenent, and Falcon under certain conditions.  Saber is good too, but I think that statistically the Paladin is a better choice most of the time.  Harrier is perhaps the one AR in the game that doesn't need a buff.

Don't have it yet, want it of course.

Just curious, for folks who have it: is the ammo thing really a huge issue, or is it just a matter of trigger discipline (wasting rounds on mobs that are already KO'd)?

I can imagine with a high damage full auto weapon, you could save a lot of rounds by deliberately burst firing and trying not to overkill things.

@boopi

It is, even the utmost trigger dscipline leaves you often empty when its power is needed the most

I love this gun, i will use it for a while because i got tired of the revenant and need a change, it still is only ok in my eyes because of the low ammo count

I'm sorry friend... but UnchartedDestiny is right. With EB/EC it can totally take down a FRESH Atlas in 10 seconds. I promise you, I am not lying. The trick is to NOT MISS EVER! Image IPB

Just did the damage calculations and it is in fact hyperbole. That's about 2.2 mags which isn't enough to bring down a fresh Atlas unless the Harrier is level IX or X.

Well... ya see buddy... I have a Harrier X. So... yeah. Buy more PSPs.

We were both wrong. I said a level X couldn't do it, you said a level 1 could. It takes a level IX or X. It was hyperbole on your part and mine.

I never said a level anything could do it... I never mentioned level.

It is seriously good on just about any class, even casters. Drell Adept 150% cooldown, Asair Justicar 175% cooldown (w/ 30% AR weight reduction taken). Good on Engineers too.

He said a level 1 would to the trick in 10 seconds, you said he was right.

And I never said it was a bad gun. I said it was a a very good gun. It just doesn't warrant ultra-rare status IMO.

Use the weapons muzzle rise to CHOOT 'EM IN DER HEADS! This works extremely well at close range. Harrier is great for room to room combat... just like playin' COD.

I have the Harrier I. Found the Mattock X to be more useful. More ammunition, at least. Will have to see what happens when I get a few more levels on the Harrier.

(...though I suspect it should have been a Rare and something like the Kyrsae and Reegar should have been Ultra-Rare.)

Giving it more ammo would be enough. It's one of the most perfectly balanced weapons in the game.

I know how to use it. I use it on a few characters. It's just not ultra-rare worthy.

I only have a Harrier I, and I use it across a variety of class/characters. Personally I have no issue with the clip amount as is even at this level. In my opinion if it were to have more, it would not be as balanced. It is fine as is. I speak for no one else in the matter but judging by a percentage of the replies here I am of the same mind as some other players who feels it is just right. Cheers and hope you get yours soon and make your own call on it.
