You use whichever is the best saving throw of your active classes. The saving throw against death would thus be the 5 for a level 13 fighter, rather than the 10 for a level 18 mage.goblinsly1 wrote...
But still, look at this:
http://www.playithar...gression_Charts
Is this thing accurate ?? Level 9 saving throws: 8/10/9/9/11 vs level 13 saving throws: 5/7/6/5/8
But this is kind of confusing, i will have this later saving throws when i am 13, when i dual i get saving throws of mage....how about when i reach level 14 with a mage, what will my saving throws be, what about when i am 13/18 ?
The saving throw against spells is by far the most common. Save against death is the only other one you're likely to use much. Breath gets used against dragons, but in most cases you will want characters to be immune rather than worrying about whether they save for half damage or not! Polymorph and wand saving throws are very rarely used.Btw which saving throws are most usefull and which the least ? Btw this makes the ring of protection +2 very usefull.

Sorry, I'm currently a little busy with a few... things. Mostly just staring at the wall and wondering why I'm so bored. You know the drill.goblinsly1 wrote...
I will just wait around until Taifun replies.
Yes, multiclass characters pool their collective XP for HLAs.goblinsly1 wrote...
Ok HLAs when mage is 18. About multiclass i was
thinking about jaheira. When she reaches 3.000.000 she can use all
fighter HLAs and i think also all druid HLas ( level 14 druid can cast
level 7 spells ).
Only if you say it is.This is not cheating is it ?!
There are some people that say they cannot imagine how a character can pull out a sword from a little bag in his backpack in the middle of a fight. To describe an extreme case, I remember a player that said that once a fight had begun, he'd only use what items he had in his quick slots and after every weapon switch he'd put the old weapon on the ground to emulate how a hasty character would just drop one weapon to draw another one.
I personally am not this strict. I repeatedly switch between Cloak of Nondetection and Cloak of Balduran in the middle of a fight too.
It's all up to how you interpret the game.
Yes, Hindo's Doom +4 offers Death Ward, but do note that while Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting is a necromantic spell, it is not death magic. And that protection from
death magic. Isnt there an item that protects ? Soo someone casts Dalzim
at you, you run somewhere where u are along, equip it, no damage, fun
fun.
The best protective items would be the Belt of Inertial Barrier (which would reduce the damage by 50%) or the Cloak of Mirroring (which completely negates all spell damage with Throne of Bhaal installed).

Ok this saving throw thingy makes dual class characters quite powerfull ? Or not ?
Basicly i wont have saves as good as single class fighter at level 20 ( when i am 13/20 F/M ) but then again, unlike fighter i have tons of spells to protect me, soo saving throws are not my only defence. Spells and death are mostly the only ones that matter. My saves at 13/20 vs spells will be 6, meaning same as 20 fighter and against death will be 5, only 2 worse then 20 fighter. I think this is quite good. 9/20 would have same save vs spells though, much worse against death though ( 8 ). At level 21, which i am quite sure i can reach before the end of TOB, i will have save vs spell of 4. I am pretty sure this build will be good.

Well all i can say, unlike all other times, i am actualy gonna read this descriptions and use potions !! Basicly i will use as little as possible right until the last battle with melissan, the evil battle, the hell battle, the battle that i cant sleep because. I even remember once summoning tons of skeleton warriors, must have been like 50 if not more ( cheating with images, wont do it this time though ), hasting them, and i lost on insane lol. And the one easy way with yaga shura ( harm ) is nerfed soo basicly he is almost unkillable. Since most damage sources do him 1 damage i have a few ideas though ( certain arrows and weapons that do 1 damage over long period of time ... ).
Yaga is vulnerable to poison, I think. Can be a good way to take him down.

Yep, Serpent shaft and other million of items that do tons of damage. Or if i managed to hit him with that arrow that takes 30% of health over time....and just when i need to finish it, i just use cones of cold.
Hitting Yaga with Doom. Malison, and Priest Poison and Dolorous Decay spells can do a lot of damage quickly since he will fail some saves. High level Poison does like 100 damage on a failed save, and Decay does 50.

Will Harm work on him and do that 150 damage ? That would be quite a finisher !
And again, those arrows that take 30% of health away ? If that works that is amazing, thats like 200 health....it takes time but that doesnt matter, yaga has to stay alive until i rid of others anyway, which will take a lot of time and a lot of timestops. Flail of ages will do some damage as will other weapons with lots of elemental damage. Remember, unless he has 100 resistance, damage will always be at least 1. Well, we will see.

If anyone can figure out why fire elementals suddenly get agressive when i use fire damage on them even though they are immune to it ?
