the GE is my favorite in gold.

I like the posting, great job.

For me, I got use to have it on almost all the times and I deal with it.
For me knowing where is the enemy all the times is more important than that shield. if the enemy is shooting me I'm either in a bad position or I fkup badly.

I will try to shut it off when surrounded thou, that seems a good thing to do anyway.

and the 1/2/3/4 objective is annoying, but I got use to stop for a second in cover and look for the arrow without using my peripheral vision (as for when im not in HM)

I like how someone posts an intelligent post, that is good... And I'm guessing either stupid people or little kids post stupid things. I love your post and its great help on gold and silver. Ignore stupid posts.

I appreciate your comment, ^_^ however everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I just find it increases my survivability to switch to and fro from hunter-mode.

If others feel like it should be on at all times, more power to them!

I was more trying to be humourous than snarky or childish. I can see your point, that it reduces survivability greatly and could be beneficial to shut it off at certain times. However, I think the benefits from leaving it on outweigh the losses (probably because I keep my GI specced into Fitness, what's this proxy mine?). The extra mobility and movement alone justify this, nevermind the damage.

I HIGHLY suggest you spend some time with Proximity Mine. That power is absolutely wonderful and boundless in it's uses. It's quite worth ditching fitness for, (nothing against fitness). Which is why I wrote this guide, it pertaines especially to those who don't focus on fitness as much.

The draw-back to non fitness users is the survivability factor. Which is why at that point, Hunter-Mode being on at all times could prove to an issue. Even with wall-hack you can still be shot down by the trooper you didn't see standing just outside of your periphreal. WIthout fitness, it could very well be all it takes to down you.

Not to mention those horrible Geth Turrets, public enemy #1 I swear!

But I've gotta have atleast one non-squishy Geth, my GE is unable to give up his turret or Overload.:crying: I'll probably respec my SI for it eventually, leave 3 in Fitness and 5 into proxy.

Ditto on Geth Turrets though, buggers.

You could still keep fitness a priority if you feel the need to. Prox at 3 or 4(radius inc.) is effective. The majority of points could go into fitness then.

I do tend to switch hunter mode off every now and again, when I have to revive a fallen team member. But in terms of survivability, I'd actually say that having Hunter Mode active actually increases my survivability. The extra movement speed is usually enough to simply walk sideways to avoid incoming missiles. Other than that, being able to pop out quickly, fire, and get back behind a wall is very useful.
