After playing through the original endings I assumed what the EC ended up solidifying. It's cool that we get to check out the more extended scenes and I gotta admit, green synthetic eyes were pretty badass, but when coming up for my own conclusions to what the endings meant, I guess I kinda took them at face value, that yea it was crappy the relays were broke, not totally supernovaed, that Joker probably had a reason for fleeing, but more importantly: that for each of the A,B,C endings, there were consequences and conclusions that were neither revolutionary (in the cinematic sense) nor exciting.
Did you all expect the clarifications to be what your own thoughts had made up of the endings? Were your drawn conclusions the same or different from what the EC laid out?
I'm sure there's plenty of other posts to pass judgement on the endings now that they're clarified, and to be honest I'm still not really happy or complacent with them, but I do get it...I guess.
Did the EC tell you what you already expected?

After the Catalyst explained exactly what would happen when you picked the initial three options, I basically knew the outcome after that. But then I was already drawing those conclusions in the first place.
Watch, though, as this thread gets showered in replies of "Doesn't matter, they had to show it" and "RETCOOOOOOON"
