Fine with me, was worried I wouldn't be able to really contribute to the community goal as I will be out most of the weekend, and i'm sure it would apply to a lot of other americans or canadians.

Bioware is a Canadian company based in Edmonton, of course they wouldn't celebrate British holidays.

Hi Everyone

What with Canada Day at the start of this week and Independence Day in the middle of the week, we won't be running a weekend ME3 MP event this week.

There will be one next week though.

This works out well for me. I'll be able to put all my time into finishing my first playthrough of Infamous 2 before my ps+ subscription runs out and I lose access to it.

And I planned vacation next week, so I don't miss events. Now this, how easy is all f-ed up.
Why not simply F the holidays? All holidays are BS, only good thing is a day off, and if people care about, they would simply not play as they have better things to do. Sad you're changing it a few days before, and even more sad if it's because of the "it's holidays, I can't play" whiners.
Now I say F the events, I'm going to my vacation and you can keep your N7 crap.

i can see why for not having it this week end. i was hopping for it tho cas where i live we are having a drought so no independent's day. (with a fire ban) but at lest we did have are rhythm and booms.

but yea i think it is a good idea not to have it this weekend for the people that do not have a fire ban

You do know Bioware is a Canadian company, right? The original post mentioned that this was, in part, because of Canada Day being this week.

What does last Sunday have to do with this weekend?

Canada Day is July 1st. American Independence Day is July 4th. They are in the same week this year.

This isn't school. Sunday is the the first day of any week. This is why it is before Monday on the calendar.

No, it's definitely Sunday.

Sunday as the first day of a week? You definitely must be an American...I don't know if it's true (official in US),
but it sounds so s....ehm american. International standard is Monday is the 1st, Sunday is more in traditional terms (history, or maybe some countries, I will not google it).
