Our informants on the Citadel have intercepted excellent intelligence. Allied command will have it's pants down this weekend, because they are having a human holiday. To all reaper forces, you will not go on holiday, so shaft them good style. It is believed that "The Illusive Man" will also take advantage of the situation.

Operation ButtShaft will commence at 6pm PST Friday 6th July. To avoid confusion to our London operatives, your operation will start at 11pm on Friday night on 6th July. So don't ask for time clarification.

PS. No you will not get an N7 weapon for doing your job.

Does this now mean they'll restart from next wk or just that they'll make up for it next wkend & we'll get the regular one the wk after that? I'll be annoyed if this now means it'll restart from next wk, I work everyother weekend & as of now I'm usually off :/

Why the special treatment ? French national day happens the week after (DURING the week-end, not in the middle of the week or beginning of the week), and yet you plan the next event disregarding this ?
Personnaly i don't mind, and i'll participate in the operation nonetheless, but some might take offense.

I sort of hope they make up for it by having a weekend event next weekend and the one after. These weekend events becoming increasingly rare is kind of worrisome.

Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day both, if I recall correctly.

Likely the reason they chose to take this week off is that they're getting a big patch ready and we're going to see the "Earth" DLC sometime soon. This gives them some breathing room, while at the same time allowing for a shorter work week as many people do spend Independence Day out of town visiting relatives.
