Bioware needs to focus TC, instead of nerf it.

Oops. Some of my Gold matches must have been wrong then, since I've played without Infiltrators.

just because you outscore someone with an infiltrator doesnt mean your better than them. it's not hard to do with an infiltrator. having the infiltrator be so overpowered is bad for the game in the long run.


Before the Krysae overpowered wasn't so much the issue as overskilled. They have addressed the overskilled part (correctly imo), now you have to make a choice, damage or utility. Problem is, using the most powerful guns in MP doesn't come down to a choice between classes, just a choice between infiltrators . My original post was to address the issue of too many infiltrators, which their current fix does not do.

Yes they did it already, we get that. In this case though, they did it to effect change. What if they don't get the desired effect and the infiltrator population doesn't decrease? From what I have read around the forums I don't see any reason the % would drop. The nerf just encouraged different builds, not different class usage. Of course that isn't 100%, i'm sure there are exceptions and people dropped the infiltrator.

It's not just my infiltrator that can outscore people: as I said, I enjoy playing ALL classes, & with the right specs, weapons & gear, EVERYONE can get fairly high scores. Not that any of it matters, coz its a collective effort. But some people still don't realize this. I DON'T care whether I have the highest or lowest score on the team, but I DO care that I'm able 2 be an effective player as the class that I've chosen. People who UNDERSTAND the class know that infiltrators could only do massive amounts of damage if their pwr tree was spec'd a certain way, & they used a SR & TC. If u don't combine these together in just the right way an infiltrator is just another schmuck with a gun. Those who think the infiltrator class is OP are just ignorant, & don't understand that ALL the classes have the potential to be OP as well....in a skilled players hands. Infiltrators are just the easiest 2 start with.

The reason they gave was 33% of gold match players were infiltrators.  Then they nerfed the damage and utility of the class.  Now there are XX% of infiltrators on Gold.    Nobody knows what the XX is except bioware, and hell it might have even gone up due to other reasons ( changes in player base, etc ).  If percentage usage of a class on gold matches is how you are going to measure balance then I'm sure they will know if their nerf got the desired results.

The danger is, however, that they might continue to nerf the class to get fewer people to play it and then maybe nobody will play it.
