I'm wondering if this is going to be back to Dragon Age 3 together with the character reputation...
My 2 cents about it... DON'T!

I think Dragon Age lost a lot due it. I feel like all those choices I had back in DAO,
with made every single one of my wardens unique was lost, now only having to
pick between a red or blue path, with cute heart option for le sexy time…

I already didn’t really enjoy this system in Mass Effect, it upsets me watching my character being
called “evil” by the game itself for choosing death over brainwashing my enemy’s,
you can add as many option as you guys want, but from the moment you just tell
us that this is the good option and that’s the evil option… it does not really
matter anymore.

The character reputation had the same effect over the companions reputation if you ask me, I kind of
miss the times that I had to save my game every time before speaking to
Morrigan in order to bed her… <3

In Dragon Age: Kirkwall, they had a system that altered the dialog based on how often the player chose certain types of responses without showing the player a little progress bar somewhere in the UI.

That's what I want to see again.

Yet, I want to go further where we don't get to see how the NPCs feel about us through some GUI gadget. (The Arishok in Dragon Age: Kirkwall is one where his dialog reflects his attitude without extra feedback, ending with a different battle.)

If the characters cannot speak for themselves and we must have a little graph showing how they feel, it feels to me like there is something wrong (as if Morrigan's giggling wasn't enough of a clue in Dragon Age: Origins). I actually like having misunderstandings and having to put a stop to accidental "interest".

Again, I would only want hiding such GUI feedback as an option for my personal preference.
