It's a shame really how they couldn't bring it together in the end in the same manner.
I can live with the new EC endings, but Priority Earth sadly is such a chore...It's really not fun at all.
another favorite quote I had with Wrex was :
Urdnot Wrex: Hell of a showdown back there on Sur'Kesh. Just like the old days, right down to me pulling your ass out of the fire.
Commander Shepard : I was the one with bullets flying at me!
Urdnot Wrex: And I gave you the moral support to dodge them.

And then talked Mordin into faking the cure and disappearing to work on the Crucible. Then of course having to not mention anything to my crew. And go on ANN and put on a show for the Krogan. The e-mail I got from Wreav cemented that I made the right choice.
Picked up a bunch of renegade points on this one, but then what was the alternative?

It was a great mission, makes the ending that much more puzzling.
Weekes worked on the EC, but the EC was supervised by Walters and so had to fit within Walters' vision.
The problem was they didn't have the ending fleshed out before they wrote the game.

Tuchanka was quite simply one of the greatest moments of the trilogy. So much respect to Patrick Weekes for writting this part of the game
I beleive according to the PAX panel, Patrick helped with Tuchanka (he did write Mordin) but the main writer for it was John Dombrow.

Still, when I got to Mordin, I chose "I needed Salarian aid" because I wanted to explain myself. Then I asked him why he had changed his mind, why he had defended the genophage. The "I MADE A MISTAKE!" line is, honestly, my favorite scene of Mordin's. That notion of redemption was so amazingly done.
On my insanity playthrough, I killed Mordin to stop him, just to see what happened. Holy HELL is that depressing. That scene was clearly designed for maximum guilt.
I shed a tear or two at this mission. Much less powerful if it's Wilks instead.

I thought that "I made a mistake!" is more interesting. The first time I played, I wanted to reveal the sabotage on the way to the planet. The way the game makes this impossible is AMAZING. They then give Wrex some dialogue implying that something may lead to problems in the future, and Wreave outright declaring his plans of galactic domination. My first playthrough, Wrex was alive, so it was a bit ambiguous, whether it should be mentioned or not. I mostly held back because I didn't want the Krogan to even KNOW about the sabotage. Always planned to tell Mordin.

Damn this is the first time that I see that "I MADE A MISTAKE" line... it's amazing! Next time I'll do this. It's not Full Paragon but those lines are even better than the Paragon ones.
Also, not letting the Krogan to know about the Sabotage could keep them at bay, even if I trust Wrex and Bakara, you can never tell with those angered clans.

If people were disinterested, they wouldn't have anything to say at all. Instead, an intense love for the rest of the series ripped people's hearts out when the end was so anticlimactic.
