The ending is bearable now. But yeah, its still mind boggling how stupid it is. The EC just added a few random still images at the end and called it "closure". NICE.

They have had one mediocre game in DA 2 which I admit was a step down from DAO.  And even then it was still an enjoyable if flawed experience.  It was still an ok game.  ME 3 was a great game up until the last few minutes.  With the EC out is a great game all the way through and sure you can nitpick little things here and there about it but guess what,  you can do that to every damn game in existance.  Last I checked there is no such thing as a perfect game. So no, there is no downword trend, just some perceived faults that have been blown out of proportion.  You could take an older game that many people consider a classic like KOTOR (the game that introduced me to bioware btw, which led me to buying ME 1) and pick that game apart to if you really wanted to.

@Scepsis - I enjoy discussing ME and it's many fantastic parts. M<E1/2 are amazing games with which I have few problems. ME3 less so and I feel the need to express my concerns and disatisfactiona and I have the right to do so without being insulted. I have never insulted someone without being insulted (or perceiving an insult) from them first.

What I find ridiculous is that you preach the idea that you are 'tolerant' and 'amiable' towards all opinions, but then shout and complain that everyone who dislikes the EC is a 'whiny little baby' and is an 'idiot or ******'. (your words right there).

That is what is so obnoxious.

This. The plot of ME1 is pretty silly too, and that doesn't mean it's not a great game.
