Gotta agree with you on that one. I swear if they do buff the phantom, she'll be doing biotic stabs across the damn map. That's just me exaggerating but yeah.

They are not buffing phantoms.

I'd rather have phantoms buffed than Atli.


God those things are a pain in the ass, not because they're hard but they take so long to take down.

Its proving that phoenix fitness is bugged, and there is something wrong with him. And no thats not false video. For me it seems the phoenix classes gets downed a lot faster than other clases. Fitness isn't bugged. One thing to note that isn't commonly known is that Biotic Charge gives damage resistance for 4 seconds. Potentially messes up tests.


I looked at other threads and can agree with that. But my personal expirience (Phoenix ADEPT) shows that this character dies a lot. I've play a lot with asari adept (not justicar). If i am right she has no damage resistance bonuses. So i always spec her 6/6/6/4/4. That means 700 health and 700 shields. I can stay from 2 to 4 seconds shooting (behind cover) and then go back to cover for shields to recover, but when i play phoenix, the moment i get out of cover my shields are down. Instantly and he is specced 0/6/6/6/6 that is 825/825. I just cant understand it. Maybe it has something to do with a big body hit area or something like that but i feel something is wrong with him and i am sure about it.


Asari Justicar has base 600 shields, not base 500 like the other two Asari, so at Fitness 4 she would have 840 shields, not 700. And if she's standing in a biotic bubble during your testing, she'd have between 15% and 40% damage resistance, giving here somewhere between 966 and 1176 effective shields, which is noticably more than the Phoenix Adept's 825.

That video has been debunked. After seeing my videos debunking it, the OP even said it was flawed.

Well, its not even really "opinions".
With your playstyle and skills, Geth might be harder.
With my playstyle and skills, Reapers are harder. :)

The Geth stunlocks don't really bother me that much since I am mostly playing Asari, Salarian or Quarian. Sometimes Turian Sentinel.
I didn't get what everyone was talking about until I tried Batarian or Krogan.

As long as you stay in cover, stun-locking is not a problem.
Flamers are easy to spot, move slowly and can be taken out quite fast either with bio explosions or sniper damage to their tanks.
Hunters can be annoying if your team is not aware and covering your flank properly.
Prime turrets are hard but they get quite predictable so I get used to them.

If you are using mobility more than cover to stay alive, Geth is harder than Reapers.
If you are using cover more than mobility, Reapers are harder.

That is how it is for me anyway. :)

how about fixing the vanguard glitch before y'all make another nerf or buff... I play Cerberus bc banshees insta kill me when I'm 15 ft away and geth stun lock every shot. so if you make Cerberus like that then the game we no longer be any fun and I along with thousands of other player will move to another game! how about you buff the assault rifle and make them usable? at the rate you guys are going your gonna lose majority of players

I hope they buff the movement speed of guardians and atlases, and make it so trooper can execute (curb stomp) when you're downed.

With all due respect, phantoms are a mess.

They shouldn't snipe better than a Nemesis. If the rest of Cerberus gets buffed, which is deserved, the Phantom needs toned down. As it stands, Phantoms do EVERYTHING better than EVERY other Cerberus unit; area denial, short, mid, AND long range damage, executions, movement, you name it.

Every enemy on Cerberus should present a threat. As it stands, half of them suck, half are okay, and Phantoms are insane.

I've suggested before that the Atlas be given a slight movement speed buff; nothing more. Maybe Troopers and Centurians could use more health or shields. Nemisis need a better rate of fire. Turrets are fine. Guardians need movement speed.

Phantoms? Cut the palm blaster damage in half. There is no excuse for an enemy that is THAT mobile and hard to kill to hit harder than an Atlas.

I have enough trouble finding decent players for gold to begin with. I do not welcome enemy buffs. I do welcome taking power away from the Phantoms and giving it to other enemies, for a nice balance.

My bets on the engineers will repair stuff more pro-actively now, or become more active-in combat.

Normal Troopers might be abit more beefier in some way.

Nemesis will now almost instagib you in gold also.

Seriously? Geth are a joke on any difficulty. If my teams fight geth on gold, I look at it as free EXP. Cerberus are fine. They're not hard to kill, but they're hard to hit and lock onto. Dodging, smoke grenades, and nemesis' keeping you pinned down or keeping your shields down so troopers can move in. AND THEY HAVE SHIELDS. FFS THEY HAVE *METAL SHIELDS*.

TL;DR: Buff geth. Cerberus are FINE.

To be honest, I really hate to play the geth. Reapers are a genuine challenge but geth stunlock is really cheap. Please tone it down...

How about you just LOWER THE DIFFICULTY of geth and reapers instead? If you keep pushing them all up, your just making gold unfun, and totally inaccessible for new players try break into gold.

Yes, there is a distinct lack of good players on Gold.  I will be lucky to get 2 and 1 noob.  Usually, it is 1 good player plus myself and 2 noobs.  To illustrate, my earlier game was a UUG.  Dropped me into an ongoing game wave 1.  Host died and rage quit.  Restarted wave 1 with 3 players.  New host died and rage quit.  Restarted wave 1 again with 3 players (1 fnew guy).  New guy went Rambo and died at least 5 times every wave.  By wave 3, me and the other guy couldn't be bothered to revive him as we were busy with the objectives.  He bled out and rage quit.

Centurions and guardians could do with a buff.  The other units are fine.  I hope that there are nol going to be cheap tricks like for Geth, which has made that faction too frustrating and no longer fun to play.

Why not a level above Gold?

Not everyone can easily play Gold. Many players have a hard enough time on Silver.

Is it possible that there are just as many players who feel the levels are challenge enough now?
