As far as Cerberus goes, I would recommend increasing the speed at which Guardians can move. Their slow speed negates any advantage they have.  Maybe add some shields to them as well so they can't be one shotted/lined up and taken out. The units that kill the most for them would be Phantoms and the Engineer's turrets. I would probably increase the speed at which Atlas's can move as well, maybe give their bullets piercing properties?



TIme to make the game impossible.

Gold is the highest difficulty. Not everyone should be able to easily play it. Hell- very FEW people should be able to EASILY play it. The difficulty levels aren't there just so we can wake up and ask ourselves "gee, I wonder how many credits I want to make today". They are there to be more difficult.

Exactly. This is why I'm so often forced to play silver. I'm capable of soloing gold, but once other people come in, my team-player mindset kicks in and I end up getting myself killed because I try to help them or I figure they have my back, but a good 90% of them should be on silver.

I blame the store, but what can you do, really?

Anyway, I necro'd this thread for this situation...

 Hey, instead of buffing the enemies, buff the player weapons. All weapons minus a few shotguns and sniper rifles are terrible. Its ok if you wanna make some of the enemie factions harder but don't make them cheap (looking at you geth) .

Sure, I understand that Gold is the highest difficulty, that's why I only play Gold with a friend who rocks the GI with Krysae X and Talon X (he scores first and I second). When I'm doing PUG's, I'm solidly in Silver all night (yes, I know my place) and I excel at Silver, and I have been doing that for weeks. I worry about the power creep in this game though. I predict that, given enough enemy buffing, there would come a time in which I can't do so well anymore with my little Carnifex X and my HE/AJA, unless I unlock that Harrier. To unlock the Harrier, I need to spend real money, which I am resolute to never do.

Well, when that moment comes, I would definitely quit the game.

And BTW, I've noticed increased reloading time for Carnifex. Must be one of those stealthy nerfs, huh, BioWare? The ones you don't tell us about, like the Geth buff?

Oh by the way, it's co op so who cares what the AI thinks. Starting not to like multiplayer as much.

As long as my GI can still kill guardians through their shields with 1 javelin bodyshot. Because that toally made the Javelin worth using.

BW should nerf all enemy turrets. They're incredibly cheap and frustrating.

Completely agree that they should avoid making them cheap at all costs.

But "all weapons minus a few shotguns and SRs are terrible"? Cmon guy, hyperbole much? Don't invalidate your post by coming off as irrationally hysterical.

Pistols- Carnifex, Talon, Paladin, Scorpion all beast. I'm not even listing the "just ok but still useable" ones.

Assault Rifles- Saber, Harrier both beast. Falcon, Mattock, and Revenant useable on gold if not amazing.

As long as I can still enjoy myself on Bronze, I don't care how much you change them... as long as you leave those flippin' sneaky Engineers alone, or at least, their turret dropping alone.

Well, we got about 15% up in weapon damage in last DLC (best scenario).
Enemies should be buffed a little bit.

Among other things, this week we're looking at bumping up the difficulty of Cerberus a little since our data shows that they are by far the easiest faction on all difficulty levels and have been for quite some time. The Geth and Reapers, on the other hand, are neck and neck for difficulty.


Your data best include the fact that Geth are a broken pile of cheese and that the entirety of Cerberus leverages around the Phantom, because if it doesn't, rest assured, a lot of the playerbase is going to be pissed.

Seriously, don't just go by numbers of accomplished objectives/extractions on this one, because they're not telling the full story.

Mp needs more fixes than balance changes I'd say, but meh whatever... stasis > cerberus

I agree Guardians desperately need more health though and perhaps swap out the health for armour.

Anyone know if it's intentional that Phantoms ignore biotic combos and damage on a regular basis ??

They should buff Cerberus by making guardians move as fast as cloaked hunters and decreasing their weapon effective range. They're supposed to be the ones to flush you out of cover with CQC (along with phantoms) but are just an easy headshot medal at present.

Make phantoms less 20-30% less damage resistant while palm held out and add another 2-3 per wave

I don´t see anything wrong about Cerberus being most easy of all factions. I thought that´s actually pretty neat...having options within options, being able to mix difficulty level with how difficult enemies you want to fight. I sincerely hope you don´t buff Cerberus to same level of annoyance as Geth.

You're killing the game, make a platinum difficulty with 80000 credits, nerf the credit rewards on Silver and Gold but stop this annoyment of continuos ridicolous buffs and nerfs.

If they did that, everyone who couldn't do platinum would just complain that they can't unlock things at a decent rate.

No matter what they do somebody on these boards is going to claim that they're "killing the game" =P

Despite being "easiest", they still wipe teams of Randoms, even on silver.  But i'd like to know what stats point them to being easiest - most successful extractions?  most popular enemy to play against?  Fewest players killed?
Theyre the most fun faction to play against, not only for being "easiest", but they dont annoy like geth, and dont glitch like reapers/banshees.  

The changes are likely to be movement speed, increased damage output, increased health, frequency of shooting and grenades.  The best option IMO would be increasing the number of low level enemies, but that's likely got technical limitations BW cant exceed.
i'd argue they should not be faster, as rushing is a geth tactic, so the other options are just to make them do more damage and make them tougher.  Neither of which are great changes on a diversity of gameplay point of view.  

i just hope any changes keep the tactics needed to fight them different from fighting geth and reapers, if all factions are buffed so uniform tactics are needed it makes the game worse.

Funnily, I find Cerberus to be the hardest [on Gold] due to the multitude of Phantoms.

Geth and Reaper are easy compared to that for me. Probably class choice though, as I rarely play classes that can nullify Phantoms easily.

If you buff atlas, give the headshot abilities back. Their missiles already ignore structures to inflict damage off host. 


You need to work more on glitches and bugs to fix the actual game. Don't be a call of duty creator, fix the damn game.  Worry less about balance.

One thing I wouldn't mind, is a couple more Phantoms on Bronze.

Last night a friend and and I were played a couple of Silver games V Cerburus, and phantoms insta killed us. Later on I decided to solo a few Bronze game Vs Cerburus so I could practice more against them, and really try to work out a better way of dealing with them for the character I was using.

We currently get 1 on round 8, and another if we knock that over quick enough it spawn another. We also sometimes get one on Wave 10.

Point is bronze doesn't throw up enough practice in dealing with them. Even if they put 1 in for wave 7, and 2 straight away for wave 8 or 9.

Although I guess I could have soloed Silver instead, I mean wave 6 = 1 Bronze match anyway and I don't think I've ever failed to get at least that far. Rotten wave 10 objectives screw me over soloing Silver.

Yeah, no touchy the Phantoms or Turrets! Nemesis should be able to fire faster though.
