-Rocket troops can fire rockets at you even when the trooper itself was facing the opposite direction
-Prime bullets can curve around corners and sometimes even shoot through walls
-flame units' attacks have bigger hitboxes than the animation shows.
-hunters can stun you, rocket troops can stun you, prime bullets can stun you. When all three are firing at you plus normal units and flame units, you have zero chance of living.
Reapers:
-Banshee magnet grabs. 'Nuff said.
-4 marauders are more deadly than two brutes
-brute sync-kills are WAY too random
-husks can soemtimes magnet grab/hug you, if other units are firing at you, you're gone
Just off the top of my head.

Balancing Cerberus to be one par with those factions really means making them cheap as well. Not really a good idea as far as I'm concerned.

Might sound dull , but i choose cerb because i play late in nights and the other factions especially the Geth are a total noise polution with primes pewpewpew rocket troops fsssssst boom boom boom .ryoldschool wrote...

This week's balance changes will be delayed. We're working to get them out as soon as possible but they won't be showing up today.
Among other things, this week we're looking at bumping up the difficulty of Cerberus a little since our data shows that they are by far the easiest faction on all difficulty levels and have been for quite some time. The Geth and Reapers, on the other hand, are neck and neck for difficulty.
We have many data sources including waves completed, extractions, player faction choice, time completed, etc. and everything per map. On top of that we have internal playtests and gather feedback from the community through these forums.
Honestly, in my earlier post, and many who posted here Cerberus is selected by choice for opponent because the Geth are cheap, and the Banshee grab is unpredictable.
And i agree geth are cheap as well , banshees u can somehow control if u keep your distance at all times , but hunters .... dont get me started on the hunters , i have 1 q , should the enemies and players have the same turnig speed(sensitivity) , why is the hunter and prime turning and aiming at me 10times faster?

Makes sense. One comment regarding this. I hope you guys don't do anything to disrupt the farming of FBWGG. I admit I enjoy farming it sometimes myself but to make a change just to disrupt farming seems kind of cheap. If people want to farm, let them, as long as they aren't cheating. Farming =/= cheating.

Reapers are in a good spot in my opinion
Guardians need a boost of some kind, as of now they're just head shot fodder,
Nemesis need to be more of a threat ,maybe decrease your shield delay after they shoot you or something, I dont know

As it has already been stated many times over in this thread. The reason why people prefer to fight and have better chances against Cerberus is because they are the one faction that is not cheap. Even with the OP Phantoms, it still feels like we have a fairer fight with them.
With that being said....the game should be challenging, but even more importantly, fun at the same time. Not aggravating and tedious. The Geth have pretty much ruined me fighting against them anymore due to their infuriating cheapness. Please do not do the same to Cerberus.

But what makes the Geth hard is how buggy they are, which I imagine would need to be addressed in a patch. So I'm not surprised to see the imbalance in faction difficulty continue.

The store cheats farmers anyway. U can grind for credits and make 8 million from farming. Only for the store to give you Ammo packs now that they've replaced Character Cards. It was a straight swap - characters for ammos. The drop rate for ammos in PSP's is waaaaay greater than Rare gear mods even though they're both gold cards. As for Black cards... dream on.

I'm beginning to think that all these "balance" changes are just a ploy to get rid of all of the players except for the very best gamers, and get rid of us riff-raff. If that is the point......... well.... it's starting to work with me. I want to keep loving this game, but, I am getting very close to losing interest completely.

Ah well. I believe you can make a coherent argument for Cerberus being the "easiest" faction, although really I think it is Reapers if the player can finally put 2 and 2 together and figure the correct target priorities, and also how not to lose 100 IQ points whenever a Banshee shows up.
Please, do tell. Explain to us, oh great one, how one avoids the "Magnet" of a Banshee when they are 20 feet away? Tell us, when they teleport right next to us, and we run before they start a melee, but they suck us in anyway? Please, wize master, share your wisdom.
The Banshees cheat. You can try to be as smart as possible, but if someone is cheating, you can't beat them. They should be reported, and banned.
Don't let her get near you..
The magnetic grab is just a illusion tha cmoe from leg. What happened is that the banshee actually grabbed you before you could run, but it took more time to show up in the animation. Basically the banshee trolled you. "okay, you are free.... just kidding! Come here!!!"

Also it seems people are confused. Geth mechanics are the REASON for many people not playing them. But why pick Cerberus to play and not reapers. That's also what the data shows. Next to the Geth, people prefer Cerberus because they are a cakewalk.

This! Plus reapers, particularly Muaraders have the stagger/stun resistance Krogan should have. They pop out of stagger/stun before you'er done with your attack animation. Their accuracy, awareness, reflexes, and fire rate are phenominally rediculous.

Why? So squishy classes die and die and die? They already take off all shielding with one shot. I realize the game has become all about the shooty classes and overpowered guns, but I'm hoping for some balance.
I probably should add, decrease damage to (roughly ~70% of normal) would be a good idea.
Just give them a true Raptor. Not a Widow in Raptor skin. make em shoot alot with low damage, pin you down and sometimes use the Asassination ability to 1 shot shields as they do now.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it would break down into three groups of two for each enemy group.
Cerberus - Phantoms and Turrets
Reapers - Ravagers and Marauders
Geth - Pyros and Hunters. (Possibly Rocket Troopers in place of Pyros, but just speaking from personal experience, I've never been downed by a Rocket Trooper. The Rocket Troopers have killed my shields while something ELSE scores the killing blow.)
Just personal experience, but I highly doubt that many people would say they've had different experiences.
