Indeed it is, its nothing but Reaper propaganda, trying to addle Shepard's brain to pull a Saren 2.0, I wouldn't be surprised that Garrus puts a bullet in Shepards skull if the Indoctrination Theory turns out to be true in the end.

Quarians and geth peace is just geth propaganda. People forgiving Shreapers is Shepard propaganda.

Claiming synthesis as Saren's goal is just non sequitur.

I doubt it is Brainwashing. I honestly believe Bioware had the best of intentions with this ending, even more now with the new ending.

That is to say, everyone has an altered perspective. Since you altered everyone's chemistry, you also undoubtedly changed their brain works and thus there thinking and viewing abilities. It may be upgraded or entirely new, but the way they perceive the outside and internal world is completely different.

Had the catalyst been completely destroyed for fulfilling this and the Reapers just moseying around trying to help rebuild, I'd be sure to say this is a good attempt. However, I choose not to impose something like this on everyone, so I prefer choosing to create a new Catalyst as opposed to making a new Bydo race.
