@babachewie.

The protheans weren't aware of what the Crucible would do, they got their plans from the previous cycle, you even admitted it.

then why did the vi on thessia say, that there were two prothean factions, the ones who wanted to use the crucible to destroy the reapers, and the one that wanted to use it to control them? obviously they knew it had those two base functions

Good point, I'm wrong. But what does it change anything, and that seems a bit fishy because if all you had to do was shoot a tube, or touch two handles someone could have just sneaked and done it.

you cant really sneak the crucible to the citadel.. its a bit big isn't it? i mean someone could see it out of a window! oh wait...

If they knew about the options didn't it have to be docked already? and didn't the catalyst say that Shep was the first organic to reach that far.

The options actually are on the Citadel part of the joining are they not? (which makes even LESS sense if possible. Not that the endings can get much more retarded.)

And yeah Starbrat says Shep was the first to make it that far.

No the options are on the crucible. They need the Citdel to power it. The only option that was added was synthesis when it was attached.

But there sure as hell is such a thing as the wrong ending.

So you would commit war crimes, genocide to your allies to win a war, that's were I disagree, Like my Shep said "I rather die fighting" in ME1

And you did.  Of course you also condemned every man, woman, child, every organic and synthetic to systematic destruction - but hey you stuck to your principles - so you got that going for you.

Like I said before, If a country were to get wiped out in a war because they kept fighting instead of doing something they didn't want to do, were the world leaders be accused of Genocide or the killers?

If the world leaders had a chance to save their nation but didn't and chose to opt out, then yes, the leaders are the ones to blame. Not the killers.

History says otherwise.

Give examples then.

Christopher Colombus and the indians, the indians died instead of surrendering, but their leaders weren't known as the people who commited genocide for not surrendering but Christopher Colombus gets the blame.

I think you need to freshen up on your history. The Native Americans who interacted with the explorers ultimately died because of the diseases that the Europeans brought. I think you mistaken Colombus as a Conquistador.

Try again.

CC commited genocide, if you don't know that, I can't help you.

He was an explorer. You're thinking of Hernan Cortes. Go freshen up man.

Also, the Native Americans, particular the Aztecs, did not have a superweapon to fight the Spaniards. Hence, they were defeated. Spaniards get blame for destroying them.

Shepard, on the other hand, does but chose not to use it. Shepard gets blamed for the extinction of the galactic races.

not necessarily, we got our tech off the protheans, and the protheans got their's off the insua... squid things. , it's within the realm of possibility that the squid things told the protheans through data left behind the possibilities of the crucible. it was stated somewhere that the protheans expected themselves to survive through cryostasis and didn't expect the current cycle races, therefore they may not have left that message in the beacons because they already knew about it.

But what about the catalyst said, shepard being the first organic.

1)if what i said happened, or something similar had, they wouldn't have needed to dock it because they had an idea of what it would do

2)starbrat could be lying

3)he says first organic, he doesn't say if a synthetic had been there, (unlikely but possible)

4)starbrat also said he thought that crucible technology had been removed/destroyed, so maybe a race had made it close to using it but were defeated, even then said race must have known what the crucible would do

5)*SPECULATION* what if the reapers creators built in these functions and left data about it for future races if they needed to be stopped as a failsafe, even the catalyst said its creators were harvested against their will

This is the second time you've quoted that. You're not as deep as you think you are.

Submitting is not blowing the Reapers to hell and back.

Without taking every other sentient being in the galaxy with them.
