Given the Protheans personality they wouldn't have even hesitated. They sacrificed worlds to slow the Reapers down. What are a few races?

And really I don't blame them. It's their survival. My reject Shepard wouldn't have blamed them either. They chose to win and survive. My Shep chose to struggle, and die hoping that the next cycle would be able to win without relying on the Reapers.

Both choices are valid.
