It's not like living Shep gets any damn closure anyway.

I want an ending where Garrus is cooking bacon.
No reason.

Yes, so they can destroy the Reapers. If you reject then you're not destroying them. You think any of them would to die in a pointless fight?

My Shepard can live with her choice, and because of her, others will live with it too.
Edit: AArrrgh! on the quotes not working

I know i'm taking the stereotypical view, but... I find myself sometimes wondering if the obsessive fans of certain LI's have ever seen a real man/woman naked....

To be fair, Refusing is not a pointless fight, you choose not to take the Catalyst ultimanium and continue to fight, I think the galaxy can respect that.ImperatorMortis wrote...

Destroy: Kill all synthetics and EDI. You are a dick.
Control: Become the Reaper consciousness. Some people might see you as a dick.
Synthesis: Force unnatural evolution on an unsuspecting galaxy. You are a dick.
Refuse: Your cycle dies to protect your precious principles. You are a dick.
In terms of dickishness, Control seems like the least dickish. But even then, it seems that way a little.
Conclusion: No matter how you save the Galaxy, you are a dick. There is no "Best" ending. Its 4 choices of "Become the galaxies greatest ****."
Now that should be thread title!
Let me tweak this
Control: Become the Reaper consciousness. Force your will on the galaxy. You are a dick.
Fix'd.
...Hmm, that is a better fix, I admit.
I thought so.

Hopeless yes, but they were prepared for that, there was no guarantee the Crucible would work in the first place, it was a gamble to begin with.

Bleh. It's not like we get a reunion with the LI anyway. And then just pick control and HC Shep uploading himself to a mobile platform like EDI's. There they can bang their LI and I can get my awesome ending with EDI and the Geth alive and not deciding to hang out with the damn Reapers.

True. So he's cooking for the rest of the crew then?
Javik would probably calling cooking like that primitive.

How so? Is a united galaxy that will fight to the death for each other. I think that some would obviously oppose the idea, but some would be glad that they didn't commit major genocide to win a war and that they will fight to the death and not sell someone out.ImperatorMortis wrote...

Me? I think they couldn't kill each other fast enough.
Too bad there's not an ending that kills them all AND the Reapers.
And no some of the cretins survive (including goddamn Hackett) in Worst Destroy.

Its my headcanon ending for Garrus. Tired of fighting, he set aside his gun and picked up a chefs hat. And became one of the greatest Turian gorumets in the galaxy.

I've give you a tip. Certain people can't understand that most people don't want to die for someone elses random philosophy.

It is pointless. They all know that they can't win against the Reapers without the Catalyst. You're talking about fighting for survival yet you're spurning the thing that lets ensures that survival.

It's not someone elses random philosophy, many people wouldn't want to sell a species to win, maybe those people who are way to afraid of death, but I can honestly say that many would go down fighting rather than to sacrifice someone.ImperatorMortis wrote...
