How is it besides the point.  Either you're willing to make sacrifices or you're not.  If you never saw the Catalyst, used the crucible and killed all the Geth, would you have considered yourself a murderer or having committed genocide.  Or would you have looked at it as a sacrifice that served the greater good and saved many more races from being reaped?

The dynamics never changed for me.  Why?  Because I knew the consequences of inaction.  Death for everyone including the Geth anyway. 

I would consider myself to have done Genocide, and the logic behind what your saying is that Shepard would somehow know what to do without the Catalyst telling him.

When the reapers came through for the first time.  Hackett sacrificed an entire fleet to allow two others to escape, because if he didn't all the fleets would have been destoryed.  Under you logic knowing the consequences beforehand and doing it anyway makes Hackett some type of murderer.  He should have just lost all the ships right there, and lived with a clean conscience not having sacrificed anyone.  Logic makes no sense at all.

OP doesn't realize that ALL wars have casulties. Killing the Geth is unfortunate indeed, but sacrifice one to save the many is alright with me.

From my original post, Now there will always be casualties in war, but no one agreed to be sold
in order to win the war, furthermore committing genocide just for the fact to
ensure victory in the war because you’re afraid of extinction compromises the
agreement the galaxy agreed to, win this war together

Win together or die together is your logic? Seriosuly? Like I said, as sentinece organics we are ALL interested in our own survival and will gratefully sacrifice one race (who are not even organics might I add) to prevent our own extinction. That's how the world works. Stop trying to prove otherwise.

Everything in Mass Effect was a risk, Had Shepard died in any moment during ME the galaxy was surely doomed, but he still charged into battle. So how is it any different is Refusal, except Shepard loss...

OP doesn't realize that ALL wars have casulties. Killing the Geth is unfortunate indeed, but sacrifice one to save the many is alright with me.

Win together or die together is your logic? Seriosuly? Like I said, as sentinece organics we are ALL interested in our own survival and will gratefully sacrifice one race (who are not even organics might I add) to prevent our own extinction. That's how the world works. Stop trying to prove otherwise.

Pretty much agree with you OP. We see an human child and Asari after the credits so who knows who else survived. I'm willing to bet Javik even though he's a soldier may have a general idea on how that stasis chamber work, Liara's Shadow broker skills, we probably can hide from the reapers this cycle, and Tali's knack of turning scrap metal into a Star Trek replicator who knows how many survivors they could be?

If killing all the Reapers isn't a crime, I doubt controlling all of the Reapers in Control would be considered such either. And even if you kill the geth in Destroy, they'd all die anyway in Refusal. Going down fighting isn't any better than going down not.
