Otherwise do people really think the adverage Asari, Turian, Salarian, Krogan etc etc is going too care about distroying race that was attacking the Citadel just two years ago (who were fighting for a Reaper) whilst watching their homeworlds burn and their families being slaughtered?
Personally I think pretty much all of them would be shooting the tube, distorying the Reapers and Geth alike, without a backwards glance.

Only a complete retard would think that the galaxy stands a chance at a conventional victory when standign there with the catalyst.. Nothing else matters, if the catalyst lies or not matters not, everyone will die unless you do something desperate... The Galaxy can't save itself.

My point is the mind sets of people, years ago there was a big problem with over population with the Krogan, hence the genophage, I'm guessing most people in the ME universe don't like it and wouldn't want it to happen to their own race, but they had a huge problem with a differenet race that threated galactic stability as they knew it, so they introduced it and the general population looked the other way, their still remembered for helping to win the Rachni Wars, but people still fear the Krogan horde so they don't spend much thought on the genophage.
In essence, I'm guessing most people will think of distroying the Geth is a small price to pay for winning the war and distroying the Reapers, remembering them as martyrs that gave their lives for the sake of the rest in the long run once the dust has settled.

Because the Krogan are extremely dangerous and has shown no inclination towards anything that makes my Shep think it's a good idea to cure the genophage. Too many elements still want revenge.
THe genophage had little to do with Krogan overpopulation I have no idea where people are getting that from. It was to cut their supply of troops for when they were at war with the galaxy. If they don't have enough troops they can't afford to go to war. That's all it was.
I tend to pick Destroy over Control though because yeah Geth can be rebuilt (HC but nothing contradicts it) and the Reapers need to be dead. DEAD dead. Not wandering around and crap.
