Why do People like Garrus so much?

ME2: Garrus and Grunt.
ME3: Garrus and Vega.

Edit: Although imagining Shep, Garrus, and Thane rolling up to a club with Thane wearing those red sunglasses....

I used Garrus and Grunt in ME2. I tried to recapture the Krogan/Turian dynamic. But ME3 didn't give me a Krogan:crying:. I've done Garrus/James and Garrus/Javik playthroughs but it's just not the same. Now I just stick with Garrus/Liara for the bromance/romance squad.

I thought it sucked that they gave him so little dialogue in ME2. Supposedly, his recruitment was going to be a lot closer to the end, but then they re-arranged the whole game and he got stuck with having much less dialogue than all the other squaddies. Really brought down the game for me. :crying:

Thane's cool, but you get him so late in the game. I like to form up my squad from the get-go.

Its the packs. I think its the one where miranda finally stops shoving her ass and breasts in my face and gets some armor, and garrus fnally decides it may be a good idea to not have a uge hole in the side of his armor.Image IPB

I don't agree with Day 1 DLC (I have From Ashes though from the N7 Edition), and I don't agree with microtransaction DLC.

DLCs like Kasumi, Overlord or Lair of the Shadow Broker are fine.

I just dread the day when in RPGs you only get the basic armor and have to buy anything else. Probably will never happen, but I won't encourage it all the same.

Same with Legion 'Yeah bro, i know that bullets will just bounce off your awesomeness, but it would be really easy for tali to rig you to explode with that exposing hole in your body.'

I don't mind buying "meaty" DLC that was made post-release. Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker were two of my favorite missions in ME2.
